All looks good, by the way. The facility has plenty of parking, mainly due to the 4-level parking structure next to the main buildings. Inside the lobby area was lightly populated and there is an information desk right in front staffed with a very cheerful and courteous clerk. All floors I visited this morning were clean and spacious. There were signs everywhere, especially ne'er the elevators, to keep me informed of where I needed to go and who was offices on each floor. In the lobby and you travel towards the main elevators, the was a pianist playing on what looked like a grand piano. I like this hospital quite a lot and am very glad to have most of my appointments here.

I was able to check in upon arrival and placed in the waiting room for my husband to arrive by ambulance a free minutes later. The nurses we interacted with answered all my questions and did everything in a quick, prompt fashion. I was surprised that our emergency room experience was less than two hours, and I was super grateful for everything that everyone did. From what I could tell the restroom, emergency room, waiting room, hallways, and his individual room were all clean and well stocked.

They seem to always be renovating, modernizing and improving things which is really great and important. The biggest changes I've noticed include the lobby. They even have a local coffee chain location with eager and helpful baristas which is fun for everyone. I can't think of any complaints and I'm sure I'll be back again at some point. It's great having a nice modern hospital conveniently located close by. :)

First item I received in the mail was 6 months later and said I was past due and when I called they had sent some to collections. I had calls with them every month, starting in January, asking for statements and was told "don't worry about it, we are still waiting for some things to come through". After two escalation calls I finally got it recalled from collections and was then told to make a payment of have to pay a fee on top of the payment. I have been consistently misled, flat out lied to, and talked down to so many times it is infuriating. It's now 7 months post surgery and I'm still fighting with them and they could not care less about their poor treatment. You are nothing but money to them. CHI should be absolutely embarrassed. If you have the option to go anywhere else, I would take that option over any CHI facility 100% of the time. I have filed complaints with the AG, BBB, and DHHS.

VA renewed the prescription but their responsibility stopped there. They had no interest in trying to get the renewed prescription to the local pharmacy...in their words, "it is not my job". Got it!

Nurses were quick to get the blanket warmer going and thoroughly explain everything and answer my questions. They had a solid little snack variety for a small place while I waited. I also had breakfast at their cafe that opened at 7am. Think hotel buffet breakfast but maybe a touch better. I had biscuits and gravy, bacon, and breakfast potatoes for $7 or so. It was cheap so no complaints for hospital food. It was nice to be able to grab a bite while I waited as well.

Well I always have a good visit. However, this time it took 5 yes 5 pokes and total of three…read morenurses. They finally took it from the hand which I offered early on. I knew they needed the blood, but this was ridiculous. I do have issues with my veins being hard to get and I told them this too. Maybe next time do the hand if offered if one in the arm doesn't instead of just keep on in the arm. That's really the only issue. The nurses an Dr were great.
