This somewhat off-the-radar city offers the type of character that you hope to experience as part of your travels. We visited at around 8 PM on a Monday. It was not at all busy and we were able to find a seat with no problem. The ambiance, as suggested above, was very inviting and quite relaxed. The menu for this restaurant was short but featured several creative choices with local twists (in different ways). My wife chose the Goat Cheese Salad, which featured a plentiful serving with nice greens along with other vegetables and nice add-ins such as pecans. I opted for the Indonesian-inspired Chicken Satay, which was served with fries and salad. Again, the serving was more than enough. We both were very happy with our dinners. My wife enjoyed a homemade lemonade to drink while I was quite satisfied with one of their red wines (Corte Ortone Brindisi). The final bill was €57.50, or €28.75 per person. Given the quality of the food and the overall experience, I thought this was a reasonable value. I would definitely try this place again if we return to Delft.

FYI: They roast their own beans, so it's the real deal. The shop itself is also really cozy and cute - perfect place to relax and sip a coffee with friends. So glad this place has opened in Delft, as I'll definitely be back. Their coffees not only taste great but also are a great value - my cappuccino (which was quite large) was only 2 euros.
