For some strange reason my prescriptions never seem to get forwarded to my pharmacists. Worse, my wife also shares Wilmington Health endocrinology. While I have managed to get by with delayed or ignored prescriptions, my wife collected two 5-day hospital stays in the last 4 months where out of control Type 2 was at least a contributor! Even though she had a different Wilmington Health endocrinologist, she was have a very difficult time getting the right prescriptions to the pharmacists, and often was without the prescribed meds! I and my wife have complained to our endocrinologists, our primary care physician, and even the prescription clerk, with no improvement. I believe that the actual endocrinologists are pretty good at what they do, even if somewhat shortsighted in the case of my wife, always switching meds instead of looking for what may have been an underlying infection. I have no confidence in getting the meds prescribed!
