"You can be assured we will treat your little ones like our own."…read more You all need to remove the above statement from your website as it is FALSE advertising. Two days ago we called you to bring our three-year-old grandson in immediately as we had just left the local beach when our little one got a huge splinter in his foot. It looked deep and he was upset, so I called to make sure that you could help us. You refused to see us and told us to take him to an emergency room. The closest emergency room is 35 minutes away. FOR A SPLINTER!!! We were not asking you to perform surgery, just to remove a splinter. You stated you were afraid that you would not be able to hold him down. Did you even try? Well, my husband and I (his grandparents) held him down while my neighbor, a retired nurse, came over and removed the splinter. If that is the way you would treat your kids, then you should close your practice.

I am not sure what all of their duties entail but I can say that they are always incredibly busy, with outstanding customer service at all times. I had a hard time typing the words "Customer Service" because they make me feel like family. Also... check in is a breath of fresh air compared to most other clinics. Amber and Robbie embrace you and get ya signed in and warmly seated with a sweet smile. There is never a wait so very shortly you get called back weighed, vitals taken , etc, all done quickly and with utmost respect. Again NO WAIT....then,IN A FLASH There is a knock at the door and in walks your provider!!!! Every Single Time!!! Bonus is that urgent care is right there, they have their own lab too!!! They take most insurances including Medicare and Medicaid. I cannot emphasize enough how great the front desk staff is. Also no one gets referrals done as fast as these guys do. They're fast professional and on the ball. They make you feel like they understand. I have been there in extreme pain and simply their eye contact and tone of voice has calmed me down. I am so grateful they are here. Again there is never a wait... Please acknowledge Robbie and Amber of the front desk with a HUGE RAISE and a PROMOTION along with that please give them an all expense paid vacation with their families to the destination of their choice. Thank God the…read moreever-vigilant local police found him, narced him, and he was taken to Novant Hosp. on 17th St. While there, he arrested (his heart stopped) twice, and thankfully responded to the defib. But he was clinically dead I believe. They treated him with whatever meds were necessary but instead of keeping him overnight for observation, they discharged him. He's homeless and was living in my car which had been impounded because of the DUI - and no one from the hospital contacted me. His ex-gf had to pick him up around 10:30 at night and he was barely able to stay conscious. I am eternally grateful they saved his life - don't get me wrong. But to discharge someone who's barely conscious, having just overdosed and suffered two cardiac episodes, drugged to the point of not even knowing where he was and at that hour of the night, with no notice to next of kin? Deplorable. On a less serious subject, I went to the same ER myself having accidently stabbed myself in the hand with a fork I had been using to tenderize a steak. Knowing I had not had a tetanus shot in 32 years and with a sudden pain and swelling in my jaw, I foolishly thought I might have contracted tetanus (a little knowledge is dangerous). The medical assistant who saw me diagnosed me with a swollen lymph gland - no tests and discharged with no prescription, though I DID get a tetanus booster. The swelling and pain got worse throughout the day and I went to one of those walk-in medical clinics. The doctor who saw me and to whom I described my less obvious symptoms, diagnosed me with Sialadenitis which is a blocked or infected salivary gland. No biggie, but it is very painful and if left untreated, can possibly lead to more permanent issues. Though there was no formal treatment like antibiotics, he recommended hot packs and eating sour candies. Worked like a charm. Now I have it on the other side of my jaw, but at least I know how to treat it. And that I don't have tetanus.

On my first visit I was scheduled first for the day, I waited an hour and a half while I watched two of the nurses/PA's friend's cut ahead of me a get seen before me. They have now changed over to an electronic system, however they still managed to screw up my Rx when sending it to the pharmacy. Additionally, when my husband was out of town they mis-diagnosed me with a sinus infection only giving me a seven day/1 time day antibiotic round when I actually had bronchitis and later developed a serious sinustis infection due to the lack of proper diagnosis. I was seen by my husband's colleague later in the week, as my husband heard how sick I was over the phone and relayed the information to him. I ended up needing a 14 day course/3 times a day round of antibiotics, codiene co-syrup and nasal spray. Additionally at one of my most recent visits I mentioned that my husband was a Navy doctor... Not expecting a response, we were just making conversation. The nurse's assistant said in a condescending manner, "Oh, he's one of THOSE doctors." I'm sorry, but you only have a PA in this building, with 2 years versus 8 years of medical training plus she misdiagnosed me.

I highly recommend Stonebridge Assisted Living and Memory Care. After my elderly mother's sudden…read moreillness and diagnosis of dementia, she required multiple hospitalizations. Suffering a rapid decline, I was finally told by hospital doctors that she would not recover her ability to walk or care for herself in any meaningful way. She was refusing food due to swallowing issues and would only sometimes take water. The hospital's recommendation was to move her to hospice and allow her to decline and pass. Devastating news. Fortunately, I had already secured a placement for my mom at Stonebridge, and after consulting with their multidisciplinary staff, they encouraged me to transfer Mom back to their care, so she could be further evaluated. What happened next was nothing short of a miracle. My mother, who at that point was unable to safely swallow, speak, or move her body, had given up her will to live. But Stonebridge did not give up on her. In concert, the facility's director, their skilled nurses, med techs, PAs, PTs, Speech pathologists -- the entire community -- rallied around my mother in an attempt to offer her another chance at life. A thorough re-evaluation of her medications was performed. The nutritionist determined a diet that she could take onboard as she healed. My mom is also very spiritual, and I was overwhelmed by the number of staff members who came just to sit and pray with her when she was unable to speak. Staff even came to visit her on their days off! Gradually the interventions began to work! Over the course of a couple of months, and as a result of this dedicated and compassionate care, my mother has been able to recover her ability to walk, talk, eat solid foods, and is now able to attend onsite church services, social activities and enjoys visits with family. She has picked up weight and regularly engages in physical therapy, which has greatly improved her mobility and reduced her physical pain. I'm so thankful I didn't listen to the doctors at the hospital -- and took Stonebridge's advice to bring her back to them. At the risk of leaving someone out, special recognition is owed to Betty, Brenda, Sara, Moira, Renee, Rebecca, Barbara, Karen, Flo, DJ, and Fabiola. At a time when healthcare and senior services are stretched so thin, and our social services are overwhelmed, it's refreshing to see a care team that truly values their residents as their own family, by treating the entire person -- physically, mentally, socially and spiritually. Thank you Stonebridge!

They need to fire the entire management team from the top all the way down, because they don't even come to work for the care of the residents, they come to work for their social clicks and friends. The building is ROACH and BEDBUG infested, which is cause residents to get eaten alive while they are sleeping. Abuse was reported multiple times to the Director of Nursing KYNA ROSE and because the employee was one of her favorites it was swept under the rug allowing them to continue to work there, with dementia residents on the 900 hall that can NOT speak up or defend themselves. When reported the DON Kyna Rose called me a liar. But it's OK because I believe in we reap what we sow, and kyna if you see this you got one hell of a reaping season in store for you, because of the pain you inflicted to the residents by not protecting them and to the staff members you have tormented just because you didn't like them for NO reason. Shame on you!
