My appointment was at 9:00am, 6 other patients came in after us with later appointments, they were all admitted and seen by the doctor. 1 and 20 minutes later and no one seen us. The receptionist "Bernice" says oh the rooms are busy which is completely not true and irrelevant. Asked for a manager she wouldn't provide us with any info. My surgery would have cost $$$$ which obviously I will take somewhere else. If you want to waste time with rude staff and a clinic that doesn't value your time that place would still probably not qualify. Terrible experience!

In general, all of the doctors said that this problem could not be permanently fixed, but they could help me manage my pain. I will never know if I was responsible for not getting the care I needed because I chose doctors with the wrong medical specialties, nevertheless less I decided to take a different approach. I called Dr Mark Prasarn an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. After Speaking with Dr. Prasarn, I left his office feeling inspired. Nothing was fixed yet, but I was filled with hope. Dr. Prasarn said the cause of my back pain was Spondilolithesis. He also said that it wasn't as bad as some others that he has seen in the past and that the surgery could fix my problem. I really appreciate the fact that he spent a considerable amount of time with me that day. Dr. Prasarn has a very methodical approach regarding care. He first recommended that I try physical therapy, if there was little to no change in my pain level we would then move on to pain management. If the pain level persists, we would try surgery. It is good game plan for him to start with the least invasive strategies until he could provide a decision that matched my personal needs. I did eventually have surgery. After just two weeks from the day of my surgery the pain was completely gone. I waited four months to write this review because I wanted to see if there would be any recurring issues concerning my back pain. I am happy to report that I feel great!! I have not experienced any pain (nothing!). For me this surgery has been life changing. I can't tell you all the special accommodations that were made for me just to take a walk. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Prasarn a very good doctor and really a very nice person. He has the credentials and it is very obvious that he has a strong desire for helping people. I'm 69 years old. For about six months I noticed that I was getting kind of wobbly and would fall…read moredown often. For example if I was in the shower and closed my eyes I would start leaning and unless I opened my eyes and grabbed onto something I would fall down. This got worse and worse. I sought help and was referred to Dr. Meyer. It turned out that I had a severe stenosis in my neck. Dr. Meyer performed an operation in which he came in through my throat and installed two clip-like spacers to separate two of the vertebra. He took some bone from my hip and grafted into the area of repair. He also came in through the back of my neck, from the scar it looks like he did most of the work from there. It's been over a year now and ever since the operation I no longer start leaning and falling. Aside from the normal post-operative recuperation I have had absolutely zero pain and have not taken one pain med. I have full range of motion with my neck. Sometimes when I tuck my chin down I can feel something inside but that's about the only thing I notice from the operation. Dr. Meyer has an excellent bedside manner. You can tell he enjoys his work in making people's lives better. The staff and nurses were great also. I never had any problems making follow-up appointments. Surgeons are like anyone else. There's good ones and then there are really good ones, and Dr. Meyer is really good at wat he does.

That's why I have always been outrageously flexible. Unfortunately it's not at all because I have stretched or done anything to be so flexible, it's because my body doesn't stop before injury.
