It was easy to park on the streets for free, and many others did as well to avoid the parking lot fee at the stadium. They had a pre-game party on the lawn which was so fun! There were samples of beverages, games, and plenty of information booths. There are multiple entrances to head into the stadium. The stadium was epic! There is a huge Brewhall on one end of it, which was incredible, and they had lots of other food stations as well to choose from. We enjoyed the cheese curds! Lots of shops as well to get some gear. Evening games are gorgeous as the sun is setting just past the stadium. There is truly not a bad seat in the stadium! We were high up, but it was good so we were able to see the whole field. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Lots of fun chants to yell during the game, and of course waving your towel! Quite a crowd getting out of there but many traffic guards to help. Definitely worth a try!

They sponsored a picnic dinner for family outside the stadium. There's a huge pre- party area nearby for pre-game music and booths and some fun interactive experiences. I grabbed a free clear bag from Hyundai. We also checked out the kids playground area on the east side of the stadium. Loved it. Great for kids to get the wiggles out before heading into the stadium. The game was full of excitement. We sat behind the north side goal tender area. I did a nice lap around the stadium, grabbed drinks, ice cream and a souvenir for the kiddo. The only negative for me was one of the refs that had some very bad calls and the bugs. It was very buggy, I felt itchy quite often and maybe because they are constantly watering the grass so it's the only place the bugs are attracted to in the area since it's been so dry.

My son improved more in an 8 week season with his HS than he has in 5 years with this club. But its not suprising, considering they had 19 boys (not regulation) on a team, practining on a 1/4 field. So this is about the soccer fields but they have a dog park which really should give it 5 stars but those fields. So there are four fields, nicely slopped for drainage, great shape, and lush, lush, grass (at least as of last night). The problem is that they all slope toward the north so that one team is always attacking up a hill. The cool thing is that if you are the significant other of someone playing, you can take your hound over to the dog park which is right there which I think is pretty cool. No idea what that is like and I actually saw someone had made a separate page just for that. Paved parking lots and restroom facilities are all right there.

Trying to be more intentional about exploring parks around Minneapolis this year, and Hidden Falls…read moreseemed like the perfect place to start. We usually default to Minnehaha Falls across the river, but I'd never actually explored this side--which looks to be really sprawling with new townhomes and modular single family homes. We parked near the dam and walked along the trail to reach the stairs leading down to Hidden Falls. Heads up: the walk down is a little precarious since there's no railing for most of the stairs, but it's not very steep and the trek itself is pretty short. The falls themselves were a bit disappointing at the moment--more of a trickle than a waterfall--but it is early in the season. That said, the forested park area it winds through was really nice, and made the visit worth it regardless. I can already tell this place is probably stunning in the summer when everything is green and flowing! Even with the lower water level, it was a great way to explore somewhere new and great to see there were so many people already exploring the park with it being chilly still!
