The simple, limited menu offered enough options, but also let us know they do things right and don't try to do too much. Also check out their daily specials. There is a chance my palate for Sicilian cuisine was not sophisticated enough to enjoy the creativity.

Most importantly, we found the interior decor very stiff and austere and we did not feel comfortable because of the judgemental disapproval from the waiters when 1) asked for a fork for an appetizer that had fallen apart; and 2) when asked to divide a pasta dish. It was almost like a scene out of a Saturday Night Live skit on snobbish restaurants. . We wished we had eaten elsewhere .

Alessandro (restaurant owner) welcomed us with open arms and a big smile. Started out our meal with a nice Sicilian made Rose wine. This wine tasted amazing. I wish I could bring a case home. Ordered some antipasto platters. The bruschette on the fresh made bread crustini's the artichoke spread was my favorite. But all 3 spreads were delicious. The arancini was the most mouth watering one I've tried. I want more. The risotto filled fried ball was incredible. One of the stars of the meal was the pistachio pesto fresh pasta. I have never had such a more delectable unique pesto in my life. I made sure to clean my plate with the fresh made bread afterwards. The dessert... oh wow... this tiramisu was amazing. Unlike anything I've ever had before. And I want more. This was exactly the authentic Sicilian food experience that I was looking for.
