I came home from vacation and noticed a water stain on my 2nd floor bedroom ceiling. That morning I immediately filed a work order via email to Nemanich and was informed the following day they would have a roofing company come out and access the damages. Since it was the winter and with my steep roof I was patient enough to wait until the weather got better to have it addressed. On March 25th I called their office and spoke to Alexa who informed me this work order I submitted 5 weeks ago has not been taken care of and NO ROOFING COMPANY has been contacted. Furthermore she informed me that Nemanich does NOT follow up on work orders that are submitted and do not reach out to their subcontractors for status. This is disheartening because this issue with my roof continues to happens and has now caused more damage to my ceiling. In addition, to have a trail of follows up and emailed them on April 7th, and April 8th and have not received a phone call or response to my email. Their core values as they state of their website is nothing but a marketing scheme to entice when in reality they delay work orders for months and months on end and us a homeowners have to stay on top of them to get anything done to our homes. We pay almost $2000 per year for rudeness when we call all the while our homes are falling apart and causing more damage. Since this has gone on now for almost 10 weeks with no answers on when this will be resolved I have no choice but to file a complaint against this company. read more

Beside the fact that things are not taken care of that are supposed to be taken care of eg: landscapers trimming bushes and leaving branches everywhere not disposing of it, large missing patch of grass that's never been fixed after letting them know... what really got me is a simple phone call I made. A woman answered and asked how she could help, I asked one question which she answered quickly which was great but did it in such a way as to wanting to hang up. I had another question, again she answered quickly and was trying to get off the phone. I told her I had one last question to which she let out a long winded sigh and mumbled something under her breath. She answered it quickly again. After continuous calls and emails, I am still left without clarity on multiple matters. The letters sent to residences are so poorly constructed that they are designed to make you fail. I called to get clarity on when payments are due, I am given multiple answers and am told I am fabricating due dates but I was reciting the due dates straight from their letter. The most unimpressive part is when I asked when I will be receiving my invoice, I was informed they would arrive the week of the 1st. Within the same phone call, I was told my payment was due on the 1st, and I should not worry about a late fee since there is a "30 day grace period". I have always mailed in my payments and they are pushing for me to make online payments but I am weary after reading reviews of this company shutting off auto payments, not informing residents and then charging them late fees. I have been previously advised there would not be a late fee when my payment was sent and received within the appropriate time frame. But since their staff was on vacation, they didn't open my mail for TWO WEEKS AND THEY STILL CHARGED ME A LATE FEE! I am completely disappointed by the antics Nemanich Consulting and Management continues to display. P.S. The 2022 Proposed Budge is a joke and should revised. read more

Nemanich Consulting failed to properly maintain the 'building' sewer system, resulting in the 'building' sewage backing up into my condo. Sewage backed up, flooding into my condo, coming in thru the tub and toilet. Causing unlivable conditions. Nemanich had a plumber repair the building plumbing, however, Nemanich refused to repair or refund me for the damage that Nemanich caused. Very, very poor service. read more

I just recently bought another house that's managed by them and I had to be in contact with them about getting things all set up and I spoke with a girl named Alyssa, she was extremely helpful and made sure to follow though and get things taken care of for me. read more

I needed a drain tile repaired. It was clogged with not only mud, but shingle debris and nails from when they redid our roofs. I put the request in and was told a contractor would get in touch with me. 2+ weeks later , no call. Yard is dug up and crushed pipe was exposed. So I did it my self. I sent an email with a copy of my receipt for materials, still no response. They forwarded the email to the so called president of Meadowdale. They blow off and ignore residents and then they get a fiesty one like me, and they try to cover the issues. The landscaper at Burnside is a joke. Doesn't do what he is contracted to do. You pay your monthly fees for things not to get done nor completed outside of your home, to the point where you're asking yourself what am I paying for but you're still paying something. I say that because, what am I paying on time for if contractors come out and do half ass jobs on what they've gotten fully paid to do??? You write concerns to figure out what's going on AND no one answers you, EVER!!!!!! But let a payment slip and they charging you $350 in legal fees for a letter. I have worked with Nemanich several years with our condo association. I feel they have been quite a good company. They have helped our association regain solid footing from where we were when we started with them. Tanya continuously keeps us in contact with our needed projects and needs. They have had a good group of referrals to do our projects. I have never had any communication problems with anyone in the office. They usually have been quite friendly. This has to be one of the rudest, most unhelpful management companies or businesses in existence. Can't believe anyone hires them or continues to use them. I would give 0 stars, but to leave my review I must give them 1 undeserving star. I just purchased a condo in Mokena, IL and rented to my son who just graduated college and can't get the mortgage needed for purchase himself for a few months. I called them upon closing on the purchase and asked where to send a copy of the lease per condo assoc rules. Faxed it in as requested and asked about paying assoc fees. They said they would send welcome kit with info. Gave them my address and contact information. Never got any correspondence to my home address which I gave them or even anything to the condo unit, except yesterday received a collection letter to the unit address with late fees and a statement showing double the amount due than what should be owed for the 45 days I owned the unit. I called their office and spoke to someone who said I needed to send a response or payment per the instructions in the collection letter. They were very rude and would not answer any questions. I responded with an emailed and faxed letter per their collection notice and asked them to please clarify what was owed and if the previous owner had a balance they were charging to our account. They responded with an email the next day saying we owed additional money besides what they said was owed in the collection letter, but no explanation for the additional monies they now say are due. I have emailed 6 times and called Nemanich 3 times and I still do not have these simple answers to my questions. All they want to do is play games and apparently get a kick out of wasting my time and getting me angry. With every communication they will not answer a couple of simple questions; How much do we owe in fees? Where do we send it? and Was there a balance due prior to my purchase? They have still not answered these questions and I have asked for the contact information of the Board members at the condo association so I can make them aware of this horrible experience as a new owner at the condo complex. I guess I may need to call my attorney and have him screw with them. I will certainly try to contact the Board of the Burnside Station condo association to tell them about my experience. Our association is very eager to make a change. We are a five-unit (yes, only five) association that is run by one person. Our association manager is a nice elderly man, some days willing to help out, other days just plain paranoid and wastes our time by telling stories (remember that one about when the mayor lived next door?) and poorly communicating about when things will get done (answers have varied between "a week" and "never.") We never had a proper "board" and when I moved in I was too young to care. Did I mention we never had ONE meeting in FOUR years? Enough is enough, right? Another one of our neighbors took charge and began contacting management companies in the area. We all agreed that we wouldn't mind paying slightly more each month if it meant better handling of our finances. After our neighbor's research, it sounded as if the deal with Nemanich was almost sealed. She just had a few questions that they needed to answer. Okay, you should get the picture by now: we wanted new management so badly that our standards were pretty low. Myself and this neighbor saw the poor reviews for Nemanich but forged ahead anyway. But then after having several questions and e-mails unanswered over the course of two months by Nemanich, we are looking elsewhere. Initially they provided us a packet of information with financial statements and testimonials from happy clients. Those testimonials were incredibly outdated, one as far back as 2008. Have they had no happy clients since then? That's a huge red flag! I can't speak for their actual services, but the lack of customer service says enough. I am assuming we weren't worth their effort because we are a small community and were only seeking a financial takeover instead of paying more to utilize all of their services. I was really hoping to be able to post a positive review on Nemanich after seeing so many bad reviews. Too late I guess. read more

Ok it's been a year since the last post but not much has changed quality wise with this Mgmt company they are still unorganized, unprofessional and communication with them is still crappy as ever. More homeowners have sold and moved since the last review somewhere around 8-10 have sold for the minimum and ran like the wind putting a lot of dust between them and this land of OZ where nothing is really real and the wizard is always on vacation. They people that was parking and invading our space are not part of the Elite homeowner association (OH JOY!) yeah right whatever! Anyway the only thing changes that have taken place is the association has went up on our HOA fees and still no organization or positive changes. The homeowners that have not sold or been able to sell because of the area have started renting out their townhomes so you know what it's like when you have a bunch of renters right? (Things get rather interesting) HMMMMM We are still trying to get out of here as well but sales for LeCarrow Glen subdivision is very poor and a realtor neighbor of mines expressed that homes all around the perimeter of here are selling like wild fire but I see tumbleweeds rolling down these here streets. Just a horribly ran company. Had my HOA dues on auto pay for the past two years that I've lived in Mokena. Without any prior notices, they send me a letter of final notice saying that I have delinquent dues and if I don't pay they will take "Legal Action". Sent them an email the day of the letter asking why my autopay stopped, and how to pursue to pay them. Its been 4 days and all I have received was an automatic response saying they received my email. Tried calling their office 5 times today and the number they provided does not go through. Also, when originally setting up my autopay I had to call their office and ask how to set it up. Very rude towards me, they were acting like I was a complete moron for not knowing. The lady on the phone was extremely ignorant. If your property is ran by these people, I would take your best approach to avoid having to talk to them on the phone. read more

This company manages our home owners association. It is a complete joke. We pay $195 a year to look at dead trees and nothing ever changes. In addition if you are a day late with a payment they hire out the crooked Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit to collect an HOA fee that is $195 and hike it to over $1000 in legal fees. What a joke? No wonder there is a class action lawsuit against them. If your HOA uses them beware. Costumer service doesn't exist. They're rude and talk to down people. We had missing shingles which caused a stream of water to flow into our laundry room. The roof was repaired quickly but the damaged ceiling and insulation have not been taken care of...this was June 2016. It's now Feb 2017. We also have a new leak in the master closet. They have no problem sending out letters and updates to tell you what you need to do but this group does not take care of the owner's need. I am very disappointed especially since we pay $135 a month in dues. The sidewalks to our doors weren't shoveled this winter, salt was thrown down in big patches in the middle of the drive and the landscaping leaves much to be desired. read more

This place is unbelievable. It is an absolute miracle that they are still in business. When I first bought my townhouse, I went to the office to make a payment. When you walk in, there is a tiny peephole to talk to the receptionist. You would think you're visiting the United Nations! Then, a gigantic dog appears at the window! It scares the daylights out of you! Completely unprofessional. And I love dogs! But's it's so unnecessary. I absolutely hate calling there. They are the RUDEST people you will ever speak to. If I call with a question, they'll respond with 1 or 2 word answers. They make you feel like your phone call is the biggest inconvenience of their day. When I say, "Thank you", they hang up. Will not say, "Goodbye" or "You're welcome". Nothing. I have complained to the owner, Denise Nemanich but her response was, "Well, our staff may be rude but they get things done". SERIOUSLY??? She could care less. Our Board is a disgrace, and I know it's completely because of lack of management. I hate that I have to pay these idiots every month for talking to me like I'm a dog.
