As was the buratta and the pork belly Mac and cheese. The drinks were fantastic and they did the courtesy of not ripping you off for good alcohol. The duck wontons were great as well. I really wish this place was closer to home. Glad we tried it.

Once seated, we were greeted promptly with water and our server took our initial drink, appetizer, and dinner orders without issue. The appetizers arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but after that, the service began to decline. We had to ask twice just to order a second round of drinks. When the entrees arrived, everyone at the table received their meal except me. The server asked if everyone had their food, and I told her that I was still waiting for my Steak Frites special. She checked her order book, said something, and walked away. Unfortunately, no one returned to update us. After waiting another 10 minutes, I encouraged the rest of my family and friends to begin eating so their meals wouldn't get cold. When there was still no update, I flagged down another server, who said they would check with the kitchen. A few minutes later, they returned and said they weren't sure what had happened but that my meal was being prepared. After another 10 minutes passed, I asked to speak with a manager. I was told there wasn't a manager available and that they understood my frustration. By this point, it was nearly 9:30 p.m., my entire table had nearly finished eating, and I still hadn't received my dinner. When my steak finally arrived, it wasn't what I had ordered. I had ordered the NY Strip Steak Frites special but instead received a 10-ounce sirloin. Again, the explanation was simply that they weren't sure what had happened--perhaps another guest had received my order or there had been a mistake in the kitchen. To the restaurant's credit, they removed my steak from the bill. However, what disappointed me most wasn't the mistake itself--it was the lack of communication and customer service. Throughout the entire situation, no one came back to provide updates, apologize directly, or offer a meaningful resolution. In fact, my server never spoke to me directly about the issue after realizing there had been a problem; I learned my meal had been removed from the bill through another member of our party. Mistakes happen in every restaurant, especially on a busy night. What leaves a lasting impression is how those mistakes are handled. Unfortunately, while the food we did receive was good, the customer service fell well short of what I expected.

We stayed in Room 10 which features a king size bed and a large soaking tub. The bed was comfortable, clean, and the bathroom was sizable. We always felt like there was a lot of space to unwind and relax when we were in our room. We were offered the Fall menu when we were there. On day 1 I had the apple crumble French toast (AMAZING) and I'm not even a big French toast guy. Your table has fresh orange juice, water, and coffee/tea when you come down and get seated. Loved this. On day 2 I had the traditional breakfast and enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff was friendly and accommodating - as expected from a well run B&B. We were on site for a small gathering of gamer friends and so I also tried some of their offerings in the small cafe. I tried Italian wedding soup for lunch and got several hot tea drinks. All excellent. They have a small "snack room" near the main entrance that has popcorn, and water, coffee maker, and other small amenities to make your stay more enjoyable. Overall, this was one of the most visitor-focused B&B we've had the pleasure of staying in. It sounds obvious to say that, but it his place really puts your money to work to make you enjoy your stay. Thank you!

The staff was very nice and seated us promptly, we were sat at a table that was booth on one side and chair on the other but it was an extra tall bar stool type table. Soon as I sat down the sun was right in my eyes. Yes only a small nuisance till the bar tender shut a blind (because the bar folks were effected) but there were so many empty table. Why sit us at this table ? There were plenty of other tables that would not have had this issue. Not sure why the hostess would not know not to use this table for this time of day. Other then that the place was very clean and a normal pub type atmosphere. Nothing super special though. We started off with an appetizer called the "Texas Twinkie" - okay. I read "twinkie" and think some form of cake/bread with a filling. What we got was more of an egg roll. The outside was either a wonton type wrap or a tortilla then filled with brisket, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeño, and BBQ sauce. This was very delicious but definitely misleading in the name and the menu didnt really describe the item, it only give the name and listed the ingredients. I bring this up because we also ordered the traditional pizza.... what we got was more of a flatbread and pretty bland as well. Super basic bread with a lack of flavor marinara sauce and cheese. Also the sauce to cheese ratio was sad. You can tell this because all the cheese on the slice would come right off with 1 bite. We would not order this again based on the price and what was served. I also had the French onion soup. This was pretty well done. Not to salty, no crazy cheeses added. It was well balanced and was worth getting. My partners entree was the barley creek whiskey BBQ sauce on chicken tenders. These were just ok. The sauce seemed more tomatoe based then normal for a BBQ sauce and again just wasn't what one would expect from the name whiskey Bbq sauce. I am sure people do like this place but it wasn't very impressive to us. 3 out 5 stars is a fair rating as service was good for the most part, the place was clean with a decent amount of menu options, but the execution of the food lacked and the menu names are definitely misleading for the items we had ordered.

After we took possession, it became clear that someone had moved furniture to hide mold under the floors, had placed air fresheners in cabinets and closets to hide the odor caused by mold and mildew, had sprayed to hide the carpenter ant infestation, etc. The cover up was clear after those extraordinary measures were removed or stopped by us . Unfortunately neither our agent or our inspector was able to see beyond these measures before we made settlement but we know our agent was not the one putting air fresheners in cabinets and closets! We spent tens of thousands of dollars to correct critical issues that were glossed over by whomever staged and prepped the house we bought. Be careful who you trust!

I saw the listing and my realtor scheduled an appointment for that Saturday since I was not available until then. On Friday afternoon the appointment was cancelled, because the house had an accepted offer already. I am surprised that this realtor did not wait until at least Monday to give people with scheduled appointments a chance to see the house. I know a lot of appointments were already booked. She should have allowed more time for additional offers to come in too, especially since houses have been getting multiple offers lately (Fall 2020). She could have put a message on the listing asking for "Highest and best offer" by a specific date. This is routinely done. I thought realtors are supposed to help get the best possible price for their clients. I also have to wonder if this realtor or someone from her company brought an offer to the table and wanted to keep the entire commission. I would never use this realtor to sell my house. Too bad for this seller too, because I probably would have bid over the asking price if I liked the house.
