Our party of 12 (six adults and six teenagers) dined at Jubilee on steak night. We expected a wait, and 45 minutes for a group our size seemed reasonable. Once seated, we were greeted promptly with water and our server took our initial drink, appetizer, and dinner orders without issue. The appetizers arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but after that, the service began to decline. We had to ask twice just to order a second round of drinks. When the entrees arrived, everyone at the table received their meal except me. The server asked if everyone had their food, and I told her that I was still waiting for my Steak Frites special. She checked her order book, said something, and walked away. Unfortunately, no one returned to update us. After waiting another 10 minutes, I encouraged the rest of my family and friends to begin eating so their meals wouldn't get cold. When there was still no update, I flagged down another server, who said they would check with the kitchen. A few minutes later, they returned and said they weren't sure what had happened but that my meal was being prepared. After another 10 minutes passed, I asked to speak with a manager. I was told there wasn't a manager available and that they understood my frustration. By this point, it was nearly 9:30 p.m., my entire table had nearly finished eating, and I still hadn't received my dinner. When my steak finally arrived, it wasn't what I had ordered. I had ordered the NY Strip Steak Frites special but instead received a 10-ounce sirloin. Again, the explanation was simply that they weren't sure what had happened--perhaps another guest had received my order or there had been a mistake in the kitchen. To the restaurant's credit, they removed my steak from the bill. However, what disappointed me most wasn't the mistake itself--it was the lack of communication and customer service. Throughout the entire situation, no one came back to provide updates, apologize directly, or offer a meaningful resolution. In fact, my server never spoke to me directly about the issue after realizing there had been a problem; I learned my meal had been removed from the bill through another member of our party. Mistakes happen in every restaurant, especially on a busy night. What leaves a lasting impression is how those mistakes are handled. Took a weekend away and decided to try this place out on a whim for dinner. We got the bruschetta for an appetizer and then I had gotten the shrimp and scallop ravioli. Overall the atmosphere was nice and the service was pretty quick which was a plus after 3 hours of driving. I enjoyed the bruschetta but wish there was more than 3 pieces of bread and then coming from a born and raised Maryland girl, the "Maryland style" sauce for the ravioli was a little lacking for my taste. It wasn't bad by any means but not what I was hoping for. My friends and I took a snowy trek to Jubilee for their wings special and we were not disappointed. It's worth noting, however, that the place gets super busy as there aren't a whole lot of options for a good sit down restaurant with the same feel in the area. It was quite cozy, an intimate space with, if I remember correctly, a fire and a woodsy feel. The staff all seemed incredibly well trained, quick, and kind. I ordered some mild garlic buffalo wings which were pretty good! This spot was happening on a Friday night! The parking lot was full (though it was easy to make up spots...). The restaurant was full of families and adult friend groups, maybe about half and half. And honestly, I've never seen so many kids near a bar! One of the bathrooms wasn't working, so there were few bathrooms for the space, but that didn't cause us personally any issues. The menu was great. There were enough kid menu options to satisfy, and one could definitely order on the healthier or less healthy side. My avocado romaine salad was one of the best salads I can remember having in a long time: fresh ingredients and a nice portion. I tried my husband's bang bang shrimp, and I liked it a lot. We went for an early Father's Day lunch and everything was delicious . We ordered the Camp Fire sticks with vodka dipping sauce and the Alpenhaus Pretzel for appetizers and both were very tasty. I had the shrimp tacos for lunch and they were excellent. All the ingredients were very fresh and the flavors blended perfectly. The tortillas and homemade salsa also complemented the dish so well. My husband had the cheesesteak with fresh peppers and onions which he thoroughly enjoyed. We sat on the shaded patio which was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. This is definitely a busy place since it is located in a touristy area. There was an extensive menu, but the execution wasn't fabulous. I had a chicken wrap which was fair(bland). There were also 2 orders of eggs Benedict, which was definitely smaller than anticipated, the nachos had a type of squeeze cheese (if that is your thing, you will like it) and an abundance of lettuce, but the kids got pancakes and thought they were very good. It is worth going for the variety and because there is not many options in that area. Our waitress was visibly busy, but she still did great. Dear Yelp, Met family here while at a convention at Kalahari. My rating is a 1.5/2, but the other people at the table enjoyed their food. I did not appreciate the snide waitress service and the amount of fatty steak on the salad. Things that were good - eggs Benedict, pot roast sandwich, turkey noodle soup, cheese quesadilla and chips with guacamole. Table of 6 had a 20% tip automatically included in bill. Things that were not good- five drinks were set down with 3 straws. When we asked the waitress for another straw, her response was, "What? Did someone steal yours?" No, in fact, we just weren't given enough by you for the drinks ordered. When I asked if I could add chicken or steak into my salad because the menu didn't specify add ons as a possibility, I was met with "yes". And then she proceeded to look annoyed when I asked for clarification, if both were an option. I read through some other reviews that mention rude waitress service and I wonder if it was the same lady. I felt like we were an inconvenience to her. When the meals arrived, my salad was not included and we were told it was ordered in an appetizer size and not a full size. I didn't even know there were size differences. It took 5 minutes and then my meal came out. However, the steak I had added on to it was practically inedible because of all the fat. Taste wise, the salad was good and the steak tasted good. But I had to take each piece off, put it on a side plate, and cut off fat before I could eat it. I have never worked that hard to eat a piece of steak at a restaurant. I came here on a holiday week with a group of 7 and a dog. Even though this location does not take reservations - we had no issues getting a table outdoors. Went to Poconos for friend's birthday weekend and had a celebration dinner at Jubilee. The appetizers are great we had the Bang Bang Shrimp, Campfire Sticks, and Edelweiss Fries. I had the Cesar salad to start that was also good. Birthday girl had the steak with mash but had to send back the mash had a hair in it but they remade immediately I came out with a clean plate. Another has the Nashville chicken sandwich but it was way too spicy and she sent that back and ordered a burger which was good. I posted photos of my chicken parm ala vodka that was not the best but was large enough to feed three people. Two friends enjoyed the chicken and broccoli tortellini Alfredo. Had the Bang Bang shrimp appetizer perfect with the right amount of kick and hot off the stove. We visited Jubilee Restaurant during our trip to Camelback Resort for skiing and absolutely loved it. When we visited in the morning, there was already a long line forming outside, but we were fortunately seated very quickly. Once seated, our server asked us for our drink orders and quickly served us our coffee and tea. For food, I ordered the corn beef hash which came perfectly prepared and with big portions. Other people at our table ordered the eggs Benedict and a few other dishes which were all well received. Despite the large portions, the price for food and drinks was very reasonable, a rarity in our current inflationary environment. Great service, good portions and reasonable prices. All the other reviews are correct- this is an easy going restaurant right in the middle of everything off the highway. It's the place everyone goes to- local and tourist. I will say service was fine and food was mid to great. I loved their open sandwiches with plenty of flavor and meat and sauce. But their nachos were soggy and best left off the menu. This place is pretty much always crowded but waiters keep flipping well so we never waited. While I wish there was a bit more variety of fresh options, if you want an American meal you know you'll walk away happy from- you got it all here! read more

My friends and I went dressed and old grannies. Grey wigs, canes and all. The staff was so chilled and cool about it. They made us feel welcomed and as much as we had being grannies they had fun watching. Our waitress was also really nice. She took her time to take everyone's order and read back to us what we ordered to make sure it was correct. My friends and I order was messed up but she made sure it was corrected and if it wasn't corrected she did not add it to bill. For example my friend ordered Bacon Stuffed Waffled but received a regular waffle with no bacon, she only charged us for a regular waffle. Now the food was great, I was not expected the eggs you see pictured to be "scrambled" they were more on the omelette side but nonetheless, it was delicious. Everything was great actually. I ordered the Steak & eggs. I ordered my steak medium rare, the steak was more on the rare side so I asked for a it to be cooked a little longer which they did! (Not pictured). Easily the best place to eat in the Pocono Pines area. Wait wasn't too long, about 20 mins on a Friday. Thought it would be longer since the parking lot was totally full and I had to park across the street. I ordered the pot roast and it was really good! So tender and very flavorful; I seemed to get all the end pieces which had all the seasonings, no complaints here. It was also fork tender and you can easily eat it without a knife. The mashed potatoes and squash/zucchini was standard fare and went well with the roast. It was also a huge portion and reasonably priced. Service was quick and good. We came on wing night (Thursday) with our 1-year-old, who was getting pretty hangry--and making sure everyone knew it. Thankfully, the hostess stepped in and helped us flag down our missing server so we could at least get a quick order in for the little one, which came out fast. Our server never gave us a heads-up about the delay, checked in, or offered to bus the table or refresh our drinks in the meantime. Add in some eggs and potatoes and it makes a delicious breakfast. They offer fresh squeezed OJ. They also have freshest brewed unsweetened tea which is a big plus for me. A nice restaurant in the Poconos! Went with my family so 9 people and they were able to put two tables together outside to accommodate. The outside patio area was really relaxing. The drinks and food were good. I ordered a chicken pesto with cheese sandwich and a cosmo. The only negative is that the changing table is in a tiny stall and very high up. It was also kind of broken, hanging down so my child was on a slant. It should be moved to a location that has more space and fix it so it's not slanted. Would probably come back again while on vacation. read more

Nice pit stop. The restaurant has a nice rustic feel to it. We tried the shrimp tacos and grilled chicken pesto sandwich. Loved the shrimp tacos. Very fresh and flavorful. The chicken pesto was not my favorite. Unfortunately, I did not care for the chicken sandwich. The seasoning was too salty and the foccia bread was stale.
