If I could give ten stars, I would. I've know Nerissa for a very long time.I've always been in awe of her talent and her eye for capturing the most beautiful moments on film. When she ran a family special in August I jumped at the chance to work with her. When I booked my maternity shoot I was on bed rest and very limited to what I could do. Nerissa was much more accommodating to my needs than I could have expected or imagined. She worked with me on the time, location, and every last detail so I would still be following doctor's orders. I was nervous to bring my children to her studio, as I have a very energetic two year old. Nerissa was so patient and kind with her interactions worth my kids. They felt comfortable and were all smiles the entire session. When they needed a break, as young children often do, she accommodated without hesitation. She spent additional time with my mother and my kids, taking photos we hadn't even planned on. After our shoot she took extra time out of her busy schedule to meet with me and rush order some photos for my husband's birthday. This meant the world to me and I could tell she understood this by the personal attention I received. I know I'm not her only client but I really felt like I was the most important one. I look at my maternity photos every single day. They are so beautiful and perfect - much more so than I could have imagined. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. As a professional musician, headshots are incredibly important for publicity, both online and printed, and absolutely must be the best quality. Before working with Nerissa, my headshots always felt forced and I was never truly pleased with them. I went to her for professional headshots. There were lots of imperfections in the photographs that a real photographer would have corrected. She didn't bother to tell me this beforehand, but her studio was in her living room. I was very uncomfortable with that. Also, the lighting in her living room was not very good for photographs. She also charged more than most real photographers with studios. I would not recommend her to anyone. read more
