Someone to take great pictures that will reflect our love and holy union! We heard about Justin and were so glad we that we did! After meeting him we were fortunate to have been able to book him to shoot our wedding! We were happy that it included an engagement shoot day! It turned out to the most amazing and fun day! We arrived expecting a 2-3 hour shoot at the falls and to our surprise we got more then we ever hoped for! Justin came out to the Columbia Gorge from the coast and devoted the whole day just to us! Climbing up waterfalls and cliffs all day like an acrobat treading the high wire of chance, trying to capture the moment of our lives special day. I see now that you don't just take a photograph, you make it. Like a sketch book that camera for Justin was an instrument of intuition and spontaneity! He truly has the great privilege of being both witness and storyteller. We are so grateful for his ability to capture the moment and the true, honest emotion of the day! The pictures he took are breathtaking capturing the beauty of our love for each other, obvious or hidden he found and captured the real us! He takes those great photographs that fully express what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed, and I think that's what taking foots is all about! . Melissa did a maternity photo shoot and a newborn photo shoot for our new family and both…read moreexperiences and outcomes were really wonderful. We did the maternity shoot in a beautiful park setting in Sacramento. She knew the location really well (we came up from the bay area) and composed some really lovely shots. I'm so happy that we made the effort to do that shoot (at 8+ months pregnant it was an effort!). Melissa is doing a park photo shoot special through the summer and it's a really great deal (http://www.melissarighero.com/2013/07/summer-portrait-park-special.html). I've never done any kind of photo shoot before so I was pretty nervous and thought I'd end up being really awkward but Melissa is so nice and wonderful and helpful that it ended up being really fun. For the newborn shoot Melissa came to our apartment and we ended up with the most stunning photos of our baby son and the whole family. Again, when you have a newborn you don't necessarily feel like being photographed or having people come over, but Melissa is so wonderful and the experience was really enjoyable and she delivered the most beautiful results. I'm so happy we captured both of these really special moments and definitely plan on using her again for the next big event in our lives.

Spacious, clean and friendly! I donated some cat food here…read morethat our kitty could no longer eat. Rather than return it to Chewy, that pet supplier directed me to donate it and Clatsop County Animal Shelter expressed great appreciation to receive the high quality food. I was tempted to visit the resident dogs and cats however, I was not looking to adopt another animal as we already have a dog and a cat. So, I didn't look at the animals and be tempted to take one or two home! I did note that dogs were being walked outside in the immediate area and I thought that would be a great way to volunteer some of my spare time!

The online reservation system, GINGR (I mean, what the heck is GINGR since its never explained on the web site. just click the GINGR button!), is a little difficult to navigate, especially if attempting on a cell phone. This is the only way to make a reservation; then you have to submit it and wait to see if its accepted. It also lets you see the estimated costs, which for us were very accurate. Tessa did a great and extremely thorough "intake" check in - discussing, habits, feedings, snacks, toys, etc. Once you've done this, I anticipate the next visit is much quicker. They let us drop off our own homemade refrigerated food as well. You can take their favorite bedding and blankys too. The employees here all seemed enthusiastic and genuinely cared for the pets. There is obviously ALOT of repeat business here too which speaks volumes about the quality of this operation. They also have a cute shop inside with lots of pet accessories and specialty foods. Bay Breeze gets an enthusiastic '5 paws' from us, definitely recommend and we'll be back!
