Found NET via Google Images of all places -- with a nearly 20 year-old Wrangler, there aren't a lot of places slinging custom boxes for that small space. Yeah, there are a ton of "custom" boxes available for the TJ trunk, but they are nearly all double 10" boxes, which kicks my tools to the curb. I had an obnoxious ask: whip me up a bulletproof enclosure for a single 10" with small airspace. Oh, and it has to have the same footprint as the 8" box it's replacing. The final product is a work of art. It's a shame that it hides in a place with no one to appreciate it. Sound? Amazing -- Paul asked what sub I was going to be mounting, so the airspace inside the sub is actually what is called for by the manufacturer. Build quality? 3/4" MDF and I had them go the extra mile and coat it in bedliner which not only looks boss, but adds a layer of protection from the elements. Convenience? Speaker terminals are sealed into the side of the box (side chosen by me for easy wiring because this thing is actually custom) and are heavy-duty sprung metal units, not those puny red+black push tabs. Attention to detail? The rear of the box has a cutout to make space for my door hinge. Price? If you gotta ask...oh nm, it's extremely reasonable. Will it arrive 7 business days after you order? No. It's a freaking bespoke piece of audio equipment. The best speaker in the world will sound like garbage in a bad box, but a mid-tier one will be gold in a good one. Quick service, straight forward honest guys working there. Austin installed a front and rear dash cam for me, very clean install. Didn't jack up the headliner or panels and made sure I knew how to use everything he preset for me. Good price and would come back if I ever needed anything else. My son has saved up $1,000 for a new radio and speakers in his truck. I emailed Net Audio (Paul) to inquire about getting everything my son wanted within his $1,000 budget. Paul was very quick to respond, and extremely helpful. He gave me an honest assessment and explained that my son would need to save about another $1,000 in order to do the job right. My son and I know very little about car stereos, and Paul could have easily made a quick $1,000 by selling us something we would ultimately not be happy with. In my opinion, this is the mark of a person who understands honesty and taking care of customers is top priority. Ordered a ram Subbox it took 10 weeks to get and was quoted 4 week build time. I called upset and demanded box be shipped. Box arrived it look good but performed horribly. Emailed Paul back and forth which he answered and gave instructions on tuning and settings which did not really help. I pulled box out and tested it on a bench at full volume box flexed, rattled and leaked which explains the poor performance of 2 Jl 10w6 subs. Paul then suggested I send box back to him for repairs, I did not my patience were exhausted and I did not want to wait anymore. I bought materials and spent my weekend applying more fiberglass (8more coats) and re-securing lid with about 15 more screws. I had to remove paint and carpet from box to apply repairs know box looks horrible and needs to be refinished. I think they forgot about box until I called and demanded box at that point it looks like they slapped it all together and shipped. Box is junk horrible craftsmanship and a complete waste of time and money. read more

When I decided to have a backup camera and remote start installed on my Mercedes, I found the perfect products on the Mercedes forums. MidCity Engineering made the best products and I called several places across Oklahoma, Wichita Falls, and DFW. The Mercedes dealer in OKC was rude, overpriced and unprofessional (and liars), The Mercedes dealers in the DFW area never returned my phone calls. So I called all of the authorized installers of MidCity Engineering products in Wichita Falls. Paul from NET Audio is the only one that sounded like he knew what he was doing, so I got a quote (for a GREAT price that's a lot less than anywhere else was asking) and went to have him order the parts. They come in and I go and have him install the Video In Motion/Backup Camera and Remote Start (http://www.midcityengineering.com/). He calls me and lets me know that he's finished and I go pick it up. I ask him if he had any trouble and he said it was a simple install and just time consuming to make sure it's put back together exactly as it came out. He did an excellent job and there's not a rattle of any loose parts. I despise aftermarket parts, but Paul made the experience a good one. I would definitely go back and see him.
