There are really three main reasons why I come here. The first is that the service is alright. The second reason is that they're pretty cheap. The third is that they also sell a few things like worming tablets for your pets, which I reckon is awesome. It's a great timesaver, and there have been times where I would have forgotten worming tablets if I hadn't been getting something for myself. Really, it's not a bad place to get your scripts.

When you drop your prescription off, they ask if you want to pick it up later or wait for it. Be ready for about a 20 minute wait if you opt for the latter. They will hand you a buzzer device, like some restaurants have, to let you know when your prescription is ready to be picked up. I reckon they do this so you have to have a browse to buy other things you didn't realise you needed. While this place isn't as posh and polished like some, it doesn't need to be. They have the best prices, great product range and friendly staff.

The staff are really friendly and helpful when you need them. On my last visit though, not a single staff member approached me or even acknowledged my existence. They were very busy though so I wasn't too put out by this. It just would've been nice to have someone around who could've directed me to the right shelf to find what I needed instead of having to wander around the whole pharmacy to find one thing.

The pharmacist and his assistant were just too polite and helpful, to the point where being not so well may be a good thing; even though you don't want that to happen too frequently. The generic variety of the antibiotics they sell represents great value for money unlike some generic medicines you can buy at some other pharmacies that dissolve into your mouth before you even have a chance to swallow them; kind of giving you that murky, yucky feeling in your mouth. A chemist isn't a place you would want to frequent too frequently; however if I ever needed to go to the chemist again - for heavens sake not too soon if at all; this establishment would be my next destination without re-thinking my decision. You want confidence in pharmacies as they contribute to your recovery from a major or minor illness to some degree; and you want trust as well as you are handing over your private details to them in order to get your medicine dispensed. A great business overall.

Since then, I have used this place many a time. For me, any stubborn headache or severe toothache tends to conveniently turn up post 6pm, when most chemists have closed leaving me unable to get strong pain killers (or on one occasion, a sudden late night attack of hay fever. Completely random I know!) It's great to know that this place is open until 12am every night.

You can't find anything. The local chemist has closed up shop for the night, so if you want anything even slightly more powerful than whatever your supermarket sells, you're not expecting any relief. Well, thankfully, Nunawading Pharmacy is open til midnight. These guys have saved me on more than one occasion. There isn't anything particularly nice about running out of whatever medication you're taking to keep you healthy, so it's good to know there's somewhere that you'll be able to get prescriptions filled after 9pm. The service is pretty typical of an average chemist ("have you had this medication before?", "are you allergic to anything?"), but it's really the 9am-12am (except Sunday, when they close at 11pm) availability that I go there for. In fact, when you think about what it would be like to work in a chemist that's open that late, opposite a really busy McDonald's, the staff are lovely.

How nice it seems they are to their regular customers, although I'm not sure how the woman fared once alone and back on the street. The pharmacy itself feels slightly barren, with only a couple of lonely shelves in the middle of the store and most of the products lined up along the walls. It's got a smaller range of goods than most, but appears to cover all the basic pharmacy bases. It's also got that really generic and old looking office carpeting that makes everything feel a bit forgotten. Nonetheless, the place is clean. The prices are within the average, and the staff are friendly but follow you around the room with their eyes in a way that's slightly disconcerting. Nonetheless, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt due to their kind treatment of the other customer.

Yes it is just a pharmacy, but one jam packed with all you would expect from a well stocked chemist. However what you probably didn't expect to find is the consistently changing gift selection you will find here. As well as perfume you will find trinket boxes, photo frames and sparkling costume jewelery. Perfect for that present you forgot to pick up during trading hours. The staff here are very approachable and friendly and you can get your prescription filled in quickly. What else do you need from a chemist? How about those yummy jelly beans, they really do cure all ailments, and yes you can get them at Frost's.
