This shop is by appointment only, they have a website (neutekcustoms.com) and it was very easy to make an appointment and the prices are listed for each type vehicle. I found the pricing to be very competitive with other high quality ceramic film. I was met by the owner Michael who helped me pick the right tint variations for the car. The shop is clean, secure, ran by professionals and anyone would feel good leaving their car here... We called NeuTEK while getting quotes for car tint. After my wife spoke to Brian, she was 100% sure this was the place to take our new car. Brian and Michael made prudent and careful recommendations on the percentages/areas for tint coverage. I felt very involved in the decision process and confident that the job Michael would do was going to come out as desired. They carry XPEL nano-ceramic film, which does double duty of keeping that hot Bakersfield sun out of your car. We had also wrapped our car in XPEL Stealth, had a bit of trouble with the front bumper & back hatch, and we ran out of wrap to boot! Brian gave us a more than reasonable quote and finished the job for us. I dropped my car off and when I picked it up I was so pleased. Search no more! I highly recommend NeuTEK customs for your auto tinting needs. I've recently taken my new Jeep Wrangler here to purchase ceramic tints. Brian and Michael provided amazing customer service. They are very professional, punctual and knowledgeable about their products and services. These guys are top notch. Right off the bat, you can tell these guys will take care of your vehicle based on the cleanliness and organization of their shop. They have a pleasant waiting room with a TV, comfortable seating, they offer cold water and snacks etc. Their product line is also easily visible on display. Both Brian and Michael have answered all of my questions regarding both the 3M ceramic and Xpel ceramic tints they offer. They express a lot of attention to detail and cater to the concerns the customer has. They are not pushy and do not try to up sell you. They take the time to listen to what you're interested in and explain the process. They explain the different gradients, colors, and composition of tints that they offer. They give you a lot of information so you get an idea of what would look and feel best on your vehicle. As for the installation, both Brian and Michael are very meticulous and careful. I received my vehicle back with no trim scratches, no installation residue, no soapy stains etc. The tint film was a clean install. Brian even sent updates via text while my Jeep was in the shop. As for the product, you can't beat ceramic tints. Sure it's pricier than a basic film dyed tint but the heat and UV rejection is absolutely amazing. The difference is night and day. You won't be disappointed in ceramic tint. I wanted to keep the factory OEM shade on my rear windows as much as possible while having the front windows match. You have to understand that when it comes to owning a new Tesla Model Y Performance- the first thing you have to do to it is get your windows tinted. However, when it comes to quality and value in getting your windows tinted for a TESLA specifically--------------- it HAS to be done with the best material for your windows. If you look up on the internet and do your research, REDDIT and plenty others will tell you your TESLA has to be tinted with XPEL ONLY. Whether it be PPF or TINTS- everyone and their mother on the internet says on reddit r tesla threads it has to be XPEL ONLY. Here in Bakersfield, CA if you do more research again, you will see there are only 2 XPEL PRO AUTHORIZED INSTALLERS IN TOWN. Who do you go with? Go with the guys who aren't too busy for you. Bakersfield Tint could not get me in because they were too busy (they made up some bs about tesla's not being able to be done later in the day because of curing but obvi if you have a temp controlled garage you don't give a hoot on what time of day that tesla needs to 'cure') and they sounded super annoyed on the phone when I asked questions about the tesla being tinted PLUS they put me on hold so I just hung up and got to Neutek. NEUTEK did none of that mansplaining that Bakersfield tint did (bakersfield tint was condescending on the phone) and got me in asap too when I scheduled it via online booking (which bakersfield tint doesnt have). Michael was straight forward and so was Brian. They got me in same day and got my 5% XPEL tint all around with a 45% front windshield tint for my 2023 Model Y performance --- even with a super busy schedule where you can clearly see Michael was STILL doing a FULL PPF for a Model S in which he finished that day too! It shows on the car as well that quality does show clearly- the XPEL tint was done perfectly and for $750 total (including tax, labor, material costs- THAT VALUE IS AMAZING)- I could not be more than ECSTATIC to refer these guys to EVERY TESLA OWNER IN TOWN AND IN CALIFORNIA to come to them. On their website they should be "Bakersfield's #1 Tesla Tint Shop!" because it sure as heck seems like they are. Michael put it into service mode, and was able to tell me things i didn't even know about my own car- which also goes to show you expertise about a Tesla is here and along with the work ethic they proved to me with the quality of tint/material they provided, they of course receive 10/10 YELP Stars. It's unfortunate that Im going to be the first bad review but I have to be honest about our experience. I do want to start off by saying that the employee that helped us was very polite, respectful and apologetic about the situation. However, we had a really bad experience and I unfortunately I wouldn't come back or recommend and this is why: 1. we had a window tinting appointment at 1:30pm and our car wasn't ready until 10:45pm. 2. To make matters worst, they didn't even finish the job. We're gonna have to go back to the shop so that they can remove all the 3M logos from all the windows. 3. The front window strip was not placed properly. It was way thicker than what we agreed. And they left the 3M logo on there. We are going to have to back so that they can redo that as well. 4. They didn't wash/detail the car as promised.they said we can go back another day so they can wash/detail it. 5. They removed our gate transponder (gate remote) and didn't put it back so we weren't able to get through our neighborhood gate. We're gonna have to drive all the way back to get our gate remote. I guess we're a little more frustrated than usual because we live 30 minutes from Bakersfield so having to drive all the back is a huge inconvenience when all of this could have been avoided. Again, the employee that helped us was very polite, respectful and apologetic. But this experience was very unpleasant and i don't want to go through this again. Unfortunately, i would not recommend. **updating from 1 star to 3 stars because the business owner did go out of their way to make things right. They had a strong sense of urgency to resolve all the issues above the next day. read more

I had just picked up my new car literally that morning and needed the front windows tinted as soon as possible. So it was great to get the job done in under 24 hours. The work is fantastic. They took their time to explain a lot of things to me including the factory window treatments which came with the rear windows. I was shown all the options and it is displayed very nicely in their lobby. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Felt the heat reduction right away.
