I decided to make an appointment and get my car tinted on 08/29/2024. On my arrival, Dan was extremely professional and enthusiastic. During the process, he kept me updated. I recently purchased a new vehicle and needed to have a few windows tinted. I had gone here for my last tint job and was pleased with both the service and the product I received. Here I was a year and a half later in the same boat so I went back. I was not disappointed in the service or the product! If anything I was disappointed in myself. I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment and was promptly greeted. The owner was very experienced and knowledgeable. He presented me with the different options and recommendations based off the vehicle and the manufactures privacy glass. The factory glass was darkened to 18% in the rear of the vehicle and he recommended going with 30% on the front two windows. He stated the vehicle would ready in about an hour. I left the vehicle and proceeded to run some errands with my wife. He texted right about an hour later staying my vehicle was ready. It took me quite some time to get back to pick it up. When I arrived he was sitting in his personal vehicle waiting for me. It was a bad weather day with quite a bit of rain and cold air. This is a small family run business with s very small shop that has just enough room to work in a single vehicle. It was apparent that I was the only customer that day and had made this gentleman wait around for me to return. I felt terrible and tried to hurry to get out and let him be on his way as well. It's been about 3 years since I last had a vehicle tinted. This time around the cost was literally double the price of where I went previously. I assume this price difference is related to the pandemic like everything else that has been affected. What I can tell you for a fact is this business has earned a repeat customer. There was a very minor defect in the tint installation in one window. They promptly scheduled an appointment to make the necessary repairs. They completed the repair but noticed a piece of glue was between the tint and the glass. They immediately brought it to my attention and told me they were going to redo it. This is a small locally owned shop with professional and respectful people doing the work. I'm really sad to have to update this with such a review but this business left me no choice. I had previously used them before and was happy. First of all I contacted this business through yelp to try and set up an appointment and to get a ball park as to cost. It was back and forth and very difficult. That should have been my first warning things had changed. It was difficult to get anywhere so I finally called. It was during the phone call I finally secured an appointment a few weeks out. I wanted to get my car done before my vacation time. Well today I had my scheduled appointment which was supposed to be at 1:30. As I was arriving I saw the guy locking up. I was on the other side of the divider and I have to flip around to get to the side of the street to the business location. As I was turning the guy had locked up and drove off. I immediately called and he did answer right away and I told him I had arrived for my appointment and the business is all locked up. He called me by my name so its obvious he knew about the appointment. I was not late but a few minutes early. He then began to start in on many stories from he had me scheduled on two different dates and wasn't sure which one, and that he was going out of town and so on. He was giving me all these stories and so I asked him straight out, are you just not wanting to do the job? And he replied no he didn't want to do it. I told him I waited over two weeks to get in now this. So basically he didn't want my business and the way he conducted himself was rude and unprofessional. So be warned that you might get through and schedule an appointment and even drive there like I did to find out the business is closed up and get the run around like I did. At this time some business are struggling and doing all they can to do good business then others don't value your business at all like this one. Not the right way to conduct business and its very, very unprofessional. I will never go back nor ever recommend this place ever again. read more

I recently got my windows tinted on my new Lexus IS here with Danny. I shopped around at other places and did my research and obviously looked into their customer reviews too. Kat's Auto Tint has competitive pricing and had good reviews, also the product they use is top quality, so I decided to go with them, and they did non disappoint. Danny and the other tech that was assisting him, were very courteous and professional. What I liked the most was the attention to detail. I've had bad experiences at other locations where I've gotten windows tinted and they make a mess inside and outside of the car. Not here! Danny actually showed me their process, which is to cover all the door side panels waterproofing them and covering the seats and the back windshield speaker area to make sure it was protected, also cleaning the exterior doors with non scratch products to protect the paint. When they were done with my car, it was nice and clean and no smudges or drip marks or any wet areas inside the car. Danny explained to me the curing time before I left and I waited a few days to see the outcome. Today I looked at all the windows closely and they did a fantastic job! Very professional and clean work. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get their windows tinted. Some of my family members really liked the tint work, so I'll be taking them there to get their cars tinted soon too. Oh!
