Whether you're looking to build on your personal bartending g skills or looking to prepare to find…read morea bartending job, Ace Bartending Academy is a great first step! Outside of knowing a few drink recipes and types of liquors, I went into the class just wanting to take it for fun and learn something new. Ms Lana is an amazing instructor. She has a ton of knowledge and made me feel comfortable behind the bar. This is not a lecture only course which I loved. You're getting hands on experience with learning how to pour, bar etiquette, and maintenance. Although you're practicing with colored water, the material comes so much easier when you're actually doing it. The class was around $300 for 2 weeks with day and night options. I felt like that was a great value and took away a lot from the class. On the second week you have shot night where both classes come together and learn how to layer and pour shots with real liquor. That was easily my favorite night of the course. On the last day, you take a written test and "graduate" with your TAM card. I tell people regularly about this course and how it is a core memory of my Vegas experiences.

Love how we were greeted as soon as we walled into the place, the guy at counter explained everything to use. We took our test passed and then went on home. Just love how convenient they make it and if you want to do bartending as well that's an option.

They kept on spamming me for 3 days after I unsubscribed from emails and responded to texts saying I was no longer interested and to take me off of their list. It was not until I told them that theyve been reported to the FCC that they finally stopped texting and emailing me. I know what a scam looks like but hey good job trying to twist words to make it look like a "misunderstanding". And anyone can look at the accounts of those 5 star reviews. It doesnt take a lot to realize that theyre fake accounts. Where accounts that look like mine who have left negative reviews about how they were scammed out of their money are clearly real humans. Dont waste your time and money on online bartending courses because most bars wont accept online certification anyways. Have the day you deserve!

HOT MESS SCAM My…read morewife thought a mixology lesson would make for a fun Christmas gift, we signed up for an in-home lesson last month. We described this to the instructor and organization on a few pre-appointment calls. On the day of: -The instructor showed up over an hour late for the appointment -The instructor said they were in pain from recent surgery, and showed their surgery staples -The instructor forgot to bring the tools and training liquids that we were told they'd bring for the lesson -The instructor was confused that I was not training to be a bartender, said they did not know what to do if I wasn't going to be a bartender. -After 30 minutes of awkward conversation, the instructor left. -But not without asking if we could give them gas money. Since the above could not be described as a worthwhile lesson, we called the organization to ask for a refund. Since asking for a refund: -The organization has refused every request for a refund, saying they would be forced to impose a 'cancellation fee' which would eat the refund. -The organization has missed deadlines they told us they would respond to us by. -THE INSTRUCTOR CALLED US TODAY ASKING WHY THE ORGANIZATION HASN'T PAID THEM. So Local Bartending School scammed us and an employee of their own. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Also the MA training by far the most mediocre training you will ever see. Most of what you learn in independent and the instructor never responds when you need help or have question. Basically you're on your own with roughly 20 assignments and discussions. Almost my entire class had so many complaints about the instructor and how she was so mean and for no reason. The instructor puts an extreme amount of homework on the students and then says "no late work is accepted " as if people don't have lives outside of school..They purposely make people have to retake the modules so they can get paid more money. The people in the office especially financial aid rarely answers or returns calls. They take complete control of your financial aid and you won't know how much aid you were approved for and or if there's excess funds and if the max is being requested etc. Then they put so many transactions on a "breakdown" that's supposed to explain what the charges are etc but it's so much b.s on there you won't even understand and it's never clear. Please save yourself from a headache DON'T DO IT!!!

I discovered these guys on a podcast when I was in college, around 2007. I had been away at school…read morefor a couple years by then and I had only made a couple friends. I spent most of my time in class, studying, and playing video games. I wanted to figure out how to get more out of life than what I had. I wanted to know how to meet people and make friends. I wanted to have a healthier, happier self-image. I wanted to feel confident and have the courage to throw myself into the deep end of life. Just by listening to the podcast, I managed to turn my college experience around. I made a number of solid friends, was invited to some great parties, crashed some great parties, and went on some stellar adventures with fun people. But as I neared graduation I felt like I had reached a plateau. I felt like I had pushed myself as far as I could on my own and my potential was still far beyond my reach. So, as soon as I moved out to San Diego for work, I signed up for a bootcamp at the Art of Charm because I'm a firm believer that a quality coach can always push me farther than I can push myself because I am limited by my own perspective and experience. Let me tell you, that was one of the best decisions I made. It was inspiring to be around like-minded humans who wanted to improve their lives, to be better humans overall, and to push each other outside of our comfort zones. And boy, did we get pushed. That week I spent in LA forever altered the course of my life. There was so much knowledge, instruction, and application of principles packed into one week that I kept returning on weekends to sit through class and help out wherever I could. It was worth every penny and more. I recommend the podcast and the bootcamp to everyone who expresses an interest in developing their confidence and social skills. The subsequent decade was an amazing rollercoaster ride filled with high highs and low lows. I made some amazing friends across the globe, fell into some magical romances with wonderful humans, switched careers multiple times, discovered my love for solo-backpacking, learned to love myself, went on some adventures rivaling anything you've seen on the big screen, and learned countless valuable life lessons I will carry with me for the rest of my life. What a ride it's been. In closing, I attribute most, if not all of the success, confidence, and life fulfillment I have to The Art of Charm. If you want to get the most out of life, I can't recommend the bootcamp strongly enough.
