This company completely screwed up the process of getting my daughter's passport. They made multiple errors on the very simple application that had to pointed out twice. In the list of documents they provided that we needed to have for the package they continuously forgot to include the name change order we needed to provide. Communication was horrible. The written instructions were not comprehensive and it took a phone call to figure out everything we had to do (like photographing the front and back of the sealed envelope). The worst part was that they booked the post office appointment an hour away at a location that did not do hand carry. We went an hour away to not get the service we paid an arm and a leg for. When we pointed out the egregious error to the company, the representative was rude and said it wasn't their fault. We will never use a visa company again because of this experience. What a rip off!

Backstory: My family and I planned a trip last summer to Vietnam and we needed to get our visas. We initially went to Universal Travel on 47th Ave. One of the agents that helped us told us that it would be $125 for a one month visa for Vietnam. My fiancé was skeptical because he said that it shouldn't be that expensive. While we were filling everything out, my fiancé called and asked her how much she usually pays for visas and she said that we were getting ripped off. Once we found out, we left and called around different agencies. We remembered there was a travel agency in the same plaza as Firehouse, where we eat occasionally, and decided to check it out. We went in and the couple were very welcoming and helpful. They only charge $80 for a one month visa! That's a $45 difference compared to the other place. I also went back there today for a one year visa which costs $215. Super cheap. Definitely go to Pacific Travel & Tours for your visas! P.S. Visas usually take about a week.

I visited Passport Health to secure vaccinations for an upcoming trip. I made the appointment in…read moreadvance and filled out the requested medical history and medications list forms online. When I made the appointment, I knew that my history and condition would prevent me from getting the yellow fever vaccine but I did my research, spoke to my doctors, and knew my stuff well enough to know that I could receive the (non live) Typhoid vaccine. When I arrived at the clinic, I was given a whole long spiel about how my health history made the clinic uncomfortable to give me any vaccines without written permission from my doctors. Furthermore I was told that I should have certified letter from Passport Health (upon receiving a note from my doctor) so that I could enter into my destination country without getting turned back (the vaccines for this country are recommended not required). At the end of the conversation, I was charged 119 dollars for absolutely no vaccines and no services rendered. I understand that no one wants to be liable for someone else's health. However, all of this could have been accomplished with a phone call ahead of time since the medical history was provided in advance. The technician said she knew I would be ineligible for the vaccines before I came in and still said it isn't their policy to call in advance. I guess they prefer to just take the consultation fee instead. In the end, it all felt really scammy and horrible. I'm very aware of my health history and limitations, and the fact that someone who is already dealing with chronic illness is forced to deal with these shinanigans is so incredibly disappointing and borderline unethical. Think twice before visiting this clinic--particularly if you have any underlying health issues.
