We had a great time visiting and petting Clydesdales. First on our tour, we met two donkeys, then…read morethree goats. We met a total of four Clydesdales at the fence which we fed treats and pet. The horses were very friendly and we were encouraged to ask as many questions as we could think of. Then we got to brush and pet a half Clydesdale half paint horse in the barn. We really enjoyed our time here!

Really loved this family. Mom, Dad and adult daughter run this place and take such great care of the animals. They also have miniature donkeys, fainting goats, Shetland ponies and chickens. It was a gorgeous drive out into the country and walking around the farm. Really special. For anyone who lives relatively close to La Port Michigan, the family do a special event for the Christmas holidays too.

There are so many different ceramic paint colors to choose from as well. The fused glass art section has so many beautiful colors of glass to choose from. There are lots of different sizes of the background glass to use and so many different tools to make sure you can create whatever you can think up. They also have spin art and a section of cute crafts for kids in addition to lots of ceramic choices for kids of all ages. The vibe here is so relaxing and peaceful. The people who work here are super friendly and will assist you with any questions you have but they won't hover over you, so you get a great experience just getting lost in your creativity. It's so beautiful inside the studio and it's very cozy feeling. You can reserve groups and birthday parties here too. They host a variety of special events as well. Moth Wing Studios is an excellent addition to Chesterton!
