Kids should not be taught with computers or calculaters. When technology shuts down what will they do? Also I walked two blocks to school rain, sleet, snow, hail ice, tornados, war zones, it made no difference, we went everyday. We had good teachers who taught and knew what they were doing. We had cooks for our lunches, a seven course meal, not something shipped in and only God knows what it is or was. And not fit to eat as of today. Kids were not allowed to run up and down the halls yelling and cursing and disrespecting the teachers or we got our asses whipped by the principle, no phones dress was decent we knew boys from girls. It is so sad today everywhere and the schools are pathetic.We said the Pledge every morning and we prayed in school. Dear God we need your help every where. The staff and the teachers here are wonderful and are doing all they can to help educate the children of our community. The teachers love to teach and share their wealth of knowledge to help the kids in our community grow up to be wonderful citizens of New Castle. If your thinking about moving here I would say put your kids in private school, homeschool them, or don't move here. I could go on and on about the issues I've had with these schools but I'll just leave it at that. read more

The best part about moving away from New Castle is moving away from this horrible school system. There are some good teachers there but the bad out weighs the good. If you have a special needs child and you live in new castle. I would strongly advise moving to a new district or sending them to a private school. read more
