The lack of communication was very frustrating and unprofessional - phone messages and emails not answered, lessons cancelled while we were on our way to the school, the scheduled instructor not showing up, etc. Some of my son's paperwork was completed with a completely incorrect address and was not corrected at his request. If we had to do it all over again, we'd not have chosen All Sights, and if my son wants extra road training with a professional instructor before he takes his driving test, we will not be returning here.

I recommend this driving academy if you are concerned with reducing demerit points on your license…read more A few months ago, right before I moved, I received notice by the DMV in Virginia of too many demerit points due to some speeding tickets during 12 months timeframe. It was an option to take a driver improvement course and, upon passing, I would receive 5 points to cancel out demerit points. This driving academy has an online course, which I completed, which can be completed in one day (estimated at 8 hours for completion of the online course, although it took me less than 8 hours). The exam at the end must be completed in-person at the Tysons or Herdon location. I went for the exam in-person in the evening at the Tysons (Vienna) location and there was no one else scheduled so I was able to focus and complete the exam efficiently. The staff confirmed that points post within twentyfour hours and I received a printout of my of course passing score. The online course and final exam is $75 to complete and payable at the time of the in-person exam. For those interested, even without a DMV prompt, you can take a driver improvement course every few years and receive the positive points to your license (assuming you pass the exam).

He also spent the entire time with my daughter and gave her some tips that I am even going to use. It was definitely a different experience, and I can't say enough good things about Safe Driving School.

We went over some new driving laws in the…read moreVirginia Code of Prepayable Offenses, the risk for a DUI when the blood alcohol level is as low as .02 (most people believe it is .08, but if you get pulled over for any other reason and you get a breathalyzer, you will be charged. Just so you know .04 is one glass of wine for women!), and Virginia being a totally innocent liability state, meaning if you hit a deer and you hit another car to avoid the deer, and the people in that car get injured because they were driving drunk and not wearing a seatbelt, then they can sue you for personal liability in a private lawsuit for everything you are worth, and they will win, and the list goes on. We even learned which is the most effective car insurance coverage to deductible ratio. The teachers are AMAZING and extremely knowledgeable. One has worked for the Fairfax County Circuit Court and the other is a former physicist. Whether you have traffic infraction or you just want to update your skills on the road, everyone should take this class. It's worth every penny.
