Utter rubbish, don't even bother! I was agency staff in London and had an allocated worker there, who would pick jobs that she knew I would be interested in. They would be anything from several weeks to several months and I would get enough notice to sort things out in my schedule before I would start working there. New Directions offer none of that - they take down a ton of details which they never use, inlcuding any volunteering you might have done at school 20 years ago and demand references. Then you're bombarded with texts with irrelevant jobs, where they basically give you no notice at all - they just want you to get up and go, which involves driving to another cities, but ususally out in the sticks. If this is your thing, then go ahead, but bear in mind that you probably won't get any of those shifts as they are gone in less than a minute anyway. To me this sounds more like some kind of escort agency rather than reputable healthcare agency. read more
