Well had an appointment for Thursday which they canceled last minute. Should of known that was. a…read moresign of things to come. Reset the schedule for 2 days later. Arrived took measurements on Saturday and send would get me a quote Monday. I thought that was a little strange since 4 other companies were able to take measurements and give me a quote on-site. But whatever I thought. Then Monday came no quote I texted and was told it would be there by end of day by Eduardo. Then get a text saying sorry Edgar is partner needs to review the quote and would get it Tuesday. Well, guess what no quote Tuesday and end of day Wednesday I had to finally reach out to them and say I would be moving on since I wasn't getting the quote then Eduardo finally responds he would get it to me. Then they send a quote DOUBLE the price of any quote I have received. Very unprofessional, If this is how they operate I would stay away and go with other options. Plus they have to Google listings, One is JJ Brick Pavers and the other is JJ Brick Pavers LLC. All around a waste of time!

We had a wooden retaining wall behind our house that needed to be replaced. Finding a proper…read morecompany to replace this wall was a challenge and it took us a while before we found American Pavers. We read through their reviews and looked them up on Better Business Bureau and decided to call them. We contacted them online and Hiago called us back in a timely manner. His listened to our needs and set up an appointment to come out to look at the work to be performed. He took photos and measurements, explained the work that the company could provide. A few days later we had a quote for the work along with photos of samples of the colored concrete blocks that we could choose from. We agreed to the quote. This was not inexpensive. I say that the cost was comparable to a pretty good used car. Hiago ordered the concrete blocks required, we had to go to the county courthouse to pick up the work permit. 1/2 the payment was payable in advance when we signed the work contract and the rest of the payment was due at the conclusion of construction. We payed with Cashiers Checks. The work took place over two days, where they tore out the original wood retaining wall and began setting the concrete blocks. The Foreman was on site throughout the construction and we were able to go out every so often to see their progress. The workers were professional and definitely appeared to know what they were doing. They finished the wall and hauled away the old wooden structure. The workers was performed in April 2025 and I wanted to wait to write this review to make sure that this wall was solid. I'm writing this in February 2026 and the wall looks great and we have not had any issues. The concrete blocks that we chose blend in nicely with the landscape and every time we drive by the back of our home, we are proud of our purchase. Spending this kind of money, we really want to be proud of it for a long long time and I think we will be. One of the best parts of this experience with American Pavers was the thorough and timely communication by Hiago. He was attentive and always friendly and warm. I would hope that all interactions with contractors would be so pleasant and enjoyable. Thank you Hiago and thank you American Pavers. This is definitely a company that we recommend you to consider when you have a project that needs to be done.
