I got my nails done on a Friday ANC dip and it's literally only Wednesday & one of my nails already chipped. It hasn't even been a week, ANC nails should usually last 2-3 weeks. Also I work an office job and wear gloves to do dishes so I know this wasn't from wear and tear. I got gel on my toes and that was my toe nail the next day (although they did tell me to come back to fix it, still shouldn't have to do that if the job was done correctly the first time). I felt like they rushed me out of the nail salon and did everything super fast. No one took their time and I feel like it's quantity over quality at this point. Not my first time that I've left out of there frustrated like the service was mediocre. Asked for a French pedicure and ANC French manicure.I didn't feel the pedicure was a full pedicure,the girl turned on the water so hot I couldn't put my feet in it but she had walked away. The gentlemen doing the persons nails next to me said soak,I said it's hot he turned the temp down the girl walks over and turns it back up. See enclosed pedicure Pic. I don't normally write reviews and bad ones at that, but this is a warning so it doesn't happen to you. It's been over 20 years since I had acrylic nails. I usually get gel or dip powder manicures, but I got talked into getting acrylic nails this time and it was a bad decision. After getting tips put on my fingernails and gel on top, my skin has been peeling for days and has now become tender. The peeling has yet to stop. I'm pretty sure it's the monomer solution he used to apply the acrylic nails. I guess he was very messy with the application which is why my skin is peeling. This has never happened to me before when I had acrylic nails done in my teen years so I didn't even question the application. Although I do like how my nails turned out and the staff was friendly; I'm just too nervous about this happening again so unfortunately I won't be a returning customer. read more

Why allow clients to make appointments if you're not going to honor it? When I called to make an appointment the day before, they told me it was available but didn't take my name or phone number... Red flag! Got there to find an overbooked mess, with the entire waiting area filled with people. An employee's child was running around unattended and bothering people. Walked out after standing there for 15 minutes without being acknowledged by a single employee. Can't speak to the quality of service but won't be coming back to find out :( read more

I am a regular and I love coming to this salon! The staff is friendly and even when they are busy, they always take the time to make each client happy. The salon has recently been upgraded with new stylish furniture, giving it a more modern feel. The environment is clean, relaxing and I would definitely recommend this nail salon! The lady that did my pedicure seemed extremely uncomfortable throughout the whole process. She did not make eye contact with me. It was not a good experience. Everything felt half assed. I never get my toes done, like this was the first time in probably 10 years, so I had very low expectations. She basically forced me out of the salon, handing me my shoes etc. and then I realized later that the polish on my toes was not dry. So, my toes looked like shit when I finally got to look at them. Could have done a DIY on my toes and made them look bangin. Not worth the money, better off doing that shit on your own. read more

I will never go here again. Second time I have made an appointment and had to wait nearly an hour (the first time, more than that). This time he (the guy who seems to run this place) called someone else over AFTER I had arrived. Since I had made the reservation VERY early in the morning I asked the lady after she was done what time she had made her appointment. She said she had just walked in - no appt. The most annoying thing was this guy DENIED I had ever made an appointment! Since I had made it less than an hour before I arrived, that was insulting. I went to new fantastic nail and spa recently with my daughter it was the first time we were able to have a pedicure in three months due to covered 19 I had gone to another place locally and been very disappointed so I was delighted that new fantastic nail and spa in Catskill only about a 25 minute drive for me was indeed a wonderful experience it was packed due to the very recent reopening of nail salons and spas. The wait was short and we were shown to very comfortable chairs. In terms of our pedicure , it was excellent .We had a lovely experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a great pedicure or manicure in The Hudson Valley. read more

I don't have a lot to compare this to, because I'm not one to get my nails done often. They have a separate room for pedicures, which is nice because I don't wanna see everyone's hooves... Everyone that works there is very nice, they do a nice job - my biggest takeaway is that what they show on TV and the music they play just don't make sense, and it's amusing! Once it was Forrest Gump and Top 40 - most recently it was diving trials and oldies? It's honestly the best part of the experience. The man who did my nails was clearly In a rush. I asked for gel acrylics and he didn't fill them in all the way. Didn't push back my cuticles either! And didn't pull my hangnails. $80 for a basic pedicure and dip powder French nail design. I was cut literally 5 times though, 1 time on my toe and 4 on my fingers. It looks like they use new tools for every person. This is the only place I will go in Catskill, as it is clean and affordable. I usually go for just a pedicure but they do a great job with manicures as well. A pedicure comes with a hot stone foot massage, as well as a back massage- while your nails are drying. However, I prefer the male employees because I find that they do a better job. read more

I went there and spent 200 dollars the first time. And my nails were messed up. My mother's nails came off the next day. Every time I come a different person does my nails an the they get it wrong an my nails and up messed up and coming off. I called and asked for a discount of 5 DOLLARS and the "manager" said no and argued me down on the phone. He was VERY RUDE. I will not be going there again an neither should you. read more

This salon is hit or miss. I've gotten some good manicures and also some very bad ones. If they are busy, the techs rush and are distracted. They do take appointments which is nice. I learned that if they are busy to just leave and try another time. One thing they do that I don't like is to try and push very expensive pedicures and not offering a basic pedicure as a choice. Walked in and got attended to right away. For $25 (basic pedi) I got a leg massage, hot stone, and a neck massage. The technician was attentive and did my nails with a lot of care. The first thing I want to tell you is that when I walked in they had the pedicure tub filled with towels. They rang them out by hand. They should of been washed and dried by machine. This is very unsanitary. The girl who did my moms pedi/mani was very good but the boy who I had did a horrible job. He never did the sides or under my nails. I finally just sat back and decided I would make an appointment somewhere else to get my nails and feel done correct. What a total waste of money. The woman who waxes does an incredible job as well! The salon is very clean and they give many perks, such as a back massage after every manicure and a card that after 10 visits gives you a free 10-minute massage. The place was clean, the technician used clean tools, I saw other cleaning well following customers, the result was pretty, and the neck massage at the end was a welcome addition. very poor customer service....I have been going there every 5 weeks for two years with positive results. Last week, my gel polish started chipping off most nails two days after having them done. I went back to have them make right and waited 45 minutes only to have them start taking customers that came in after me. When I told them I was here before them, the girl was very rude and said I need to wait till they can fix. In other words, wait till there are no more new paying customers. Very bad decision. I usually go to this salon when I can't get in at my usual, and I regret it every time. They're great for pedicures but nails are a hit or miss, and trust me, more miss than hit. My nails are basically bubble nails, they're too thick and I asked the nail tech multiple times (4-5 times) to make them thin, he was basically just piling on the acrylic. And also the polish sucks. It's rough and things are stuck to it. The guy who did my nails just didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. I've been getting my nails done twice a month for the last 5 years and I've gone to multiple places, and today I was charged $55 dollars for a crappy set of nails. Isn't a full set of acrylic nails 25 or 35 dollars depending on regular or gel polish?? Please tell me how my bill went up $20 dollars.. there has been MANY times I've left this place feeling overcharged but maybe only $5 dollars, definitely not $20..
