I am now on my third corrective surgery following a routine bunionectomy. The office staff was dishonest about insurance prior authorizations, failed to return phone calls, and did not complete FMLA paperwork resulting in pay lapses from work and all of the additional burdens associated with (bill auto pay, card rejections, calling HR multiple times). But WORST of all- Dr. Delott was aware of the broken hardware in my foot and never followed up. What should have been a routine 8 week recovery has now turned into a 2.5 year ordeal. And the other foot which also had a bunionectomy has recurred and is more painful now then it was prior to surgery. Such a major disappointment given that he came highly recommended.

The…read moreresult is that now I live with a shortened and crooked toe that constantly rubs against my middle toe. It's a stone in my shoe annoyance that I've been living with for a few years now. When I complained about it, all he did was put the blame on me saying I must have bumped my toe during recovery which was complete BS. He didn't even use a k-wire or silastic implant that's available now by some other foot surgeons. To this day I'm still kicking myself for ever trusting him. If you come to him with yellow toenails, the first thing he'll do is suggest to get your toenails completely removed instead of the laser treatment they have for it now. He is behind the times and uses obsolete methods. Bottom line: He destroys your feet to make money.
