The congregation has people from all over the world: South Africa, Canada, Haiti, India, Honduras, etc. Regular programs include Bible studies, kids' church, nursery & preschool, Youth Group, Ladies' Bible Study on Fridays, Men's Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, Single Ladies' Tuesday evenings, and zoom Prayer Meeting on Wednesday eve. Special programs include a free Jazz Café before Christmas, Kids Drama, Special Concerts with guest choirs/bands plus cookouts and pitch-ins. This year is the 60th anniversary and there will be fun activities and remembrances the weekend of Aug. 8, 2026.

I really enjoyed the festivities including live music, dancers, and the Greek culture. Parking onsite was $5. Be prepared to walk a bit in the grass on uneven ground. I was wearing flip flops and would wear closed toed shoes in the future. Not sure this event is easily accessible for people with disabilities from the general parking area. It might be worth asking the organizers in advance if they have a specific entrance for people who use wheelchairs walkers. You walk in and there are two lines for all the different food options. Grab a tray and load up cafeteria style. You pay at the end of the line for everything. Prices were really reasonable. All the classic Greek staples were available: SPANAKOPITA, GYROs, Greek Salad, SAGANAKI, Pitas with Hummus, TZATZIKI and Feta. I had the veggie options. We tried the wine and iced Greek latte. All were delicious. Loaded up on pastries. My favorite is the baklava cheesecake! They also had honey puffs, cookies, and traditional Greek desserts. Grab a box and full them up! We took several home to enjoy later. Event staff was friendly and enthusiastic. Volunteers were everywhere keeping things clean and tidy. The layout is pretty organized and easy to navigate. There are maps and signage prominently displayed and the people there are happy to help if you have any questions. The festival is still on today so if you're reading this now--get over there and experience Greek Fest. You won't regret it!
