It's a little hard to meet people before or after services. Come as you are. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

The sisters and brethren who volunteer in the temple are wonderful---sweet, kind, helpful, caring. One problem is the paper-towel holders in the ladies room. They are in the countertop and are hard to get paper towels from. It is silly, actually. There is room on the walls at both ends of the counter to install an easy-to-pull-out towel holder. The ones in the counter could be covered over or used as trash bins. The witness chairs in this temple are comfortable for short people.

Lucky for me, this Savers location is clean and organized so I don't have to wade through so much stuff to get to what I want. The clothing racks are well maintained, pants are hung neatly and items are usually in the right size/categories (other stores are disorganized and such a mess that I don't trust the labels on the racks). I especially love browsing through the household goods and "knick-knacks"....which is funny because I strongly dislike clutter and only purchase things that I have a use for. But I like how items are grouped together in packets-similar to a "grab bag" from years ago. Although I do love Savers, I've noticed that the prices are a bit higher than other thrift shops. But much of the clothing is better quality, so it seems fair to me. Also, the dressing rooms are very dirty (dust piles on the floor), so watch out for that.

Pastor Scott, who has been there for years, and Pastor Mike who is pretty new, are both wonderful Preachers of The Word. CenterPoint has it all in a very comfortable setting. Worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry and mission. I regularly attend the services and feel Gods greatness and love through the music and sermons, and have met many awesome people through going there. Thank you CenterPoint for being there for me. I attended Mass today at your church for the first time. Assisting handicapped parisioners does…read morenot seem to be a high priority. I arrived shortly after 9 a.m. and the parking lot was full and there are only four handicapped stalls, which were all taken. When the early service was completed I was successful in find an open handicapped stall. When the 9:30 a.m. service was completed the sidewalks were filled with persons to attend an 11 a.m. service. I enjoyed the service, but learned that you need a book to follow along with what is happening. The priest was pleasant when I exlained I needed two hosts for communion at an assisted living facility. Perhaps I might have been luck at the Saturday, 5 p.m. service, which I may give a try before giving up on this church. My first observation is that people are not nearly as friendly as I have experienced at St. Vincent de Paul Church.
