I love the lockers. They have sections for your things. All new temples since the construction of this one should have this kind of locker. The sisters and brethren who volunteer in the temple are wonderful---sweet, kind, helpful, caring. One problem is the paper-towel holders in the ladies room. They are in the countertop and are hard to get paper towels from. It is silly, actually. There is room on the walls at both ends of the counter to install an easy-to-pull-out towel holder. The ones in the counter could be covered over or used as trash bins. The witness chairs in this temple are comfortable for short people. read more

I love this temple! It's one of my favorites. It's so cool that you can see it even from faraway. It's very peaceful in there. My family took some pictures outside, and we loved how they turned out. The view is especially nice in the spring/summer time with beautiful flowers. read more

This has been my favorite temple for years. There's just something about it--peaceful, quiet, and tucked right into the shadow of the mountain. Even though it's one of the busier temples in Utah, it rarely feels rushed or chaotic. It's calm without trying too hard to be. Inside, the color palette is beautiful--soft purples so pale they're almost white, paired with clean white finishes throughout. It gives the whole temple a sense of light and stillness. I've always found the design here to be understated and elegant. Nothing flashy, just peaceful and deliberate. I've had a lot of meaningful experiences in this temple over the years--and maybe that's part of why it feels so personal to me. But even setting that aside, this is just a beautiful, well-run temple in a stunning location. If you're looking for a quiet place to reflect, this one has a way of helping you breathe a little deeper and think a little clearer. read more

Such a pretty temple!! Not only is it gorgeous (especially at night when it's lit up), but it is a great place to visit to feel peace. For those who aren't familiar with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and their temples, we believe in God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, faith, repentance, baptism, receiving revelation, and so much more. The temple provides a holy place for members of the Church to draw closer to God and participate in sacred ordinances. Even if you are not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the temple grounds are a beautiful place for a walk, and anyone can enjoy seeing the temple lit up at night on the hill. read more

This Temple is located right in the heart of American Fork Utah. You can see it while driving along the freeway. It is tall and beautiful. I'm glad I was able to stop by and visit. read more

Very beautiful temple! Enjoyed our time there and it wasn't as packed as other temples. The automatic doors were a plus.

This temple is really beautiful. I think it looks even better when it's lit up at nighttime. Often when I was here, someone was getting married. Also, it is extremely busy. I would recommend going in the early morning if you want to avoid crowds. The parking lot is huge and flows over into the nearby stake center. This temple is a stunning, peaceful, Spirit-filled House of the Lord. If you are a visitor to town, and unfamiliar with temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, you can request an outside tour in Salt Lake (in many languages)-- or an informal one if you ask at the Timpanogos Temple. Temples are special places to receive instruction on God's plan of happiness, get perspective, receive revelation, serve our families, and unite (marry and seal) our families eternally--beyond this mortal life. Relationships go on forever. Everyone is invited to enter the temple as they conform to the Lord's set guidelines--baptism, receipt of the Holy Ghost, striving to live right, growing and changing to become more like the Savior. As we do this, we receive entrance to His House, and receive power to become more like Him, peace, answers to prayers, and power to face all that we have to face and overcome in our lives. This is possible with God's grace that comes through His atoning sacrifice, death and resurrection. I've felt the power and presence of the Savior through my service in this House, and as I leave it stronger and more understanding of His amazing plan and personal design for our lives and mine specifically. This temple is so beautiful. It's larger than some so you can usually get in a session without waiting. Lots of parking and great grounds for photos. I like the chapel and stained glass windows. read more

Love this place! Very peaceful and immaculate with friendly people really trying to be closer to God. It's a good opportunity to seek inspiration and ponder the meaning of life. Each time I go I'm reminded that the Earth, animals and all of nature and my family is placed here for my happiness. Good way to renew proper perspective and find inner peace. read more
