A great, friendly pub with a good restaurant (lots of fish straight off the trawlers on Bexhill and Hastings seafronts) I've been going here man and boy since 1990. The beer is always well conditioned and regular's are Harveys, Bombadier and other top ales. Landlady Mindy does front of house and her husband Shaun is the chef -you're always guaranteed a warm welcome. Oh and if you spot my Dad, John tell him dinner's on the table, he's the bald chap nursing a pint of Harveys.

The food is ordinary pub grub, the beers are average, there is a nice outdoor patio with great views of the sea but generally I wouldn't recommend it. Despite the food, the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice, hence the 2 star rating. Probably won't be coming back here unless it's for drinks
