Just about every major brand you can think of is here, making it easy to spend several hours shopping if that's your thing. The only downside is the layout. Instead of being designed so you can start at one end and work your way through the entire center--or follow a convenient loop--the stores are spread across multiple sections. We noticed a lot of people parking, visiting a few stores, then getting back in their cars to drive to another section and repeat the process. It doesn't make for the most efficient shopping experience. We happened to visit during a stretch of 100°+ temperatures, so walking from one section to another simply wasn't practical. We visited the stores we wanted to see, then called it a day. In cooler weather, it would be much easier to spend several hours exploring everything the outlets have to offer. Overall, the selection is outstanding. Whether you're looking for clothing, shoes, accessories, home goods, or specialty stores, chances are you'll find what you're looking for. Just plan ahead, wear comfortable shoes, and if you're visiting during the summer, be prepared to use your car to get between sections.

I continue to be impressed with the pure volume of stores and massive real estate it encompasses. I shopped dozens of stores from Gap, Polo, Nautica, American Eagle and many more. It ended up I only purchased from Nautica. I would recommend checking them out.

It's right across from William & Mary, so you get this great mix of college town and Colonial Williamsburg. When we were there, a man was playing trombone in the square, people were sitting outside, and the whole area just had a wonderful atmosphere. It was super hot outside, but I still loved walking around. Definitely worth spending some time here rather than just passing through. Grab something cold, find a shady seat, browse the shops, and enjoy the ambiance. One of my favorite areas in Williamsburg.

Recently I had the opportunity to visit the square that's nestled between The College of William & Mary and Colonial Williamsburg. During Christmas is one of my favorite times to visit this area. It was hoping too! Crowds were beginning to arrive in Williamsburg for The Grand Illumination the next day. There was music, and a Christmas spirit in the cool crisp air. I visited a few shops that I had time for that were both favorites and new to me. The Cheese Shop for a snack. This shop has been a place I have frequented for decades, it's awesome and an independent run store like most others. I went to R. Bryant, a men's store. Lulu lemon, Danforth Pewter and a new shop Walkabout Outfitters which is a small chain. It replaced a very well known and established independent store I shopped since early 2000. If you're looking for a unique place to shop, eat and also take in a show at the Kimball Theater then Merchants is the place.

In open spaces they had lots of kids activity and relaxing spots. Whole area was kept clean and constantly monitored, excellent service all around. There were several escalators, elevators and restrooms throughout the shopping center. Plenty of parking spots were available all around, pavements could use some improvement. As we walked around for a bit, I found many of my favorite stores like Lululemon, Dick's, Lego, H&M and an Apple Store too. It was a good mix of popular and expensive brands. They had Macy's and Dillard's departmental stores. Several of the restaurants included CFK, Chick fil a, Chipotle, The Cheesecake Factory, Texas De Brazil, Magliano's and lots more. Initially we went just to just visit Cold Stone, but we ended up spending couple of hours at this shopping center. I also found the rare Capital One cafe. We spent time shopping in Dick's as well. The staff are much more friendly and engaged, at least on my 1st visit here, than is typical in such places. This seasonal & end-cap displays are set up with a good eye for detail. With help from the cheerful young lady at the front, I was able to find what I stopped in for (puppy training pads for my bunny's cage) with no trouble at all, and paid half the price the pet supply store next-door chargers for the same product.
