This place is a scam. They get your money and don't do what they promise in the preliminary interview. Save your money.

I see Mellisa Weaver and they take care of their patients. They want to make sure their patients are doing great. I go in every single quarter for my testing, even though I'm bad about taking my pills and Melissa calls me out on it and so she should as my physician This clinic is great for a long-term care with the success after weight loss surgery and then gain back weight years later, I underwent a secondary surgery at a different clinic and then weight loss injections have been my lifesaver. I appreciate the team having a personal connection with their patients and their due diligence to make sure that we as weight loss surgery patients need to be on top of our testing on a regular basis. I love that we have the option for support groups with Dr. Keller who specializes in transfer addiction, which is something that is a real thing I'm currently going through right now and this is the best clinic and it has been a huge blessing in my life. I love my team at Weightwise and I love my team at metabolic center of Oklahoma/Edmond. Thank you for trying to keep me on the right track and thank you for always pushing for me to get my labs done. That's why you choose insurance that is in network if it all possible.

Two weeks later I arrived at my appointment. All went well until I mentioned to Dr Walton that I was on Medicare. Then he explained that the physicians don't accept Medicare. I was speechless. I can't move forward without insurance coverage. When I left, they charged me for the visit. Again, I was shocked and honestly mad. They had 2 weeks to inform me of this information. But they chose to have me come to their office so that they could charge me for the visit! Even if I choose to pay a physician, it will not be WeightWise. They were not honest with me up front.

My only complaint was after I had asked one question about going on a certain drug he looked at me and said "you say you want to get better, but you won't take the medicine! How can I help you?" That pissed me off, because I had just told him I wanted to, but was nervous about the side effects. I guess he knows his stuff, and I'll go back to him, but that did kind of sour my experience.

I had a check up appointment on January 6th and today I call to refill my Dexcoms, pharmacist tells me my prescription has expired. Easy fix right? Give doc a call. Right. I was told on the phone it might or might not get done today no promises, but they would be sure to make it a high priority. When that should have been taken care of back in JANUARY. Not to mention the PA who saw me that day was GOOGLING answers to my questions. AI who? So a little sensor that keeps me alive in the middle of the night might or might not be refilled. I go to the office in person today, and ironically they renew the prescription immediately Diabetes doesn't have an On and Off switch, I can't just turn it off when my Doctor decides to fail me and not do her job. As a doctor it is her duty to keep up with these things.
