I was under the impression that these were direct employees of his, his crew. Basically he was acting as a general contractor that hired another company or hired some people looking for work. Not really sure here. I realize I made some changes, but they were clear and written in a revised proposal. I didn't want the doors painted, then I got a phone call that they were painted. Sure, he didn't charge me for this, but that is proper after all. I didn't want the trim painted, and paid for that, because I missed it in the proposal. My fault. They also painted the hardware for opening/closing the windows, those were metal and need the proper paint, I did have them take that off. The house didn't have flooring in, so I was asked about drop cloths, I said use them but don't worry too much about a few paint splatters. However, I did indicate that I wasn't removing the slate flooring and to be careful. Here is a big fail, many paint spots. He tried to have them clean it up. Now the floor is sticky, you can here the soles of your shoes and feel it too. He tried cleaning that up, when it wasn't done, he offered to do it again. I really felt he had done enough. I'm still trying to find a way to clean this up, because it's sticky any dust or what not sticks to it. It's really upsetting, as I loved this detail. I will look to bring in some professionals and see what this will set me back. There's also spots on the bathroom floors, which were also said that I wasn't removing. And those doors that were painted, they weren't dry and were closed, now that paint has popped off, so I have to touch that up, or maybe just start replacing doors. I realize also this review is a year since the work was done, I was in the middle of doing the rest of the work this last year. I almost considered them for doing the kitchen rehab. I really feel I dodged a bullet there. Noah, is a nice man, I think his intentions are good. However, the whole interior project was a mess, left me very frustrated, and I have projects left to do because of it. I don't think he checked up on the work as it was being done, and I don't think he looked at it after until I contacted him. Paint shouldn't have been on that slate, nor should you stick to your floor. I also had to point on paint spots on light fixtures, that should've been cleaned. Just no.

I wish I could give this company zero stars. Upon contacting them and them inspecting our roof, our…read moreinsurance policy and all documents from the insurance company- they wrote a contract stating they would replace our roof for what the insurance paid out in addition to our deductible. That would be their payment with no other funds except for the deductible coming from us. They talked about all the things that our adjuster had not included in the payout which they were legally obligated to, that they would work directly with the insurance company and adjuster and that we would only owe our deductible. I should have run for the hills at that time but stupidly I believed their scam and paid them my deductible. Now they are coming back and saying I owe them an additional 8k because they could not get more money out of the insurance company. When I reminded them we had a contract they said I owed because material cost went up by 28%. I said we would pay that - to which they said 8k is 28% of the original 14k FULL (materials and labor) quote they gave insurance. In what world is 8k 28% of 14k??! When I repeatedly asked them how they came up with this 8k number, they said they didn't have to provide me any reasoning on how they come up with any numbers and that 8k is the amount and that's it. Run from this company - I don't want anyone to fall victim to them. They scammed me out of my deductible - don't let it happen to you also.
