Review of New Look in Harrow Today, I went shopping at New Look in Harrow and had an unpleasant experience at the checkout. When I was paying for my items, I asked if they offered a student discount. The cashier confirmed that they do and asked for my student card. However, when I handed it over, she told me it was not real because it did not have an expiry date. I have been studying at Harrow College for two years, and this card was issued by the college itself. I explained this to the cashier and even offered to prove it using the Harrow College student app, which clearly shows my enrollment status. The app also displays my photo, date of birth, and name, and I even had a class on the same day. Despite this, she refused to accept my student card, which was frustrating and disappointing. After completing my purchase, she asked for my email. I told her I would prefer a printed receipt if possible. Instead of responding professionally, she laughed sarcastically and said, "A student without an email?" which I found rude and unprofessional. When I asked for her name, she refused to give it. This experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I hope the store trains its staff better on customer service and how to properly verify student IDs. read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS STORE! This New look has it all for me, Tall section! Ive just recently bought a coat for £35pounds, now for a leggy bird like myself that is a good thing because all the specialist tall shops think Iam rich, I could buy the same jacket at it would be 80 quid. What Nonsence! This New Look is pretty big and caters for all you have the average size chick, big chicks, petit chicks, pregnant chicks and teeny bobbers chicks clothing all under one roof. Fella's you are not left out too you got your section on one side of the store. When they have a sale on its a good one To complete that outfit they have an accesoriess section as well. Plus they play some crackin tunes while you shop. I spent the whole of summer looking fly because of this shop. I wish the section was bigger, but I know us tall chicks are a rare species so I will do with what I got. Because this New look is in the town centre they have great transport links with Harrow on the Hill(metroplotian line) station and bus station being 15mins away (depending on how long your legs are). You can have a day of shopping because their are a variety of shops not only clothing. You got your pubs, restaurants even VUE cinema. Cant wait to find my next glorious find, and come out with a new look. read more

I've always loved New Look and especially come here when there's sales I managed to get here when there was a sale. There's always about 6 sale racks through the New Look store and you can usually always find something and there are lots of different variety of clothing and especially there shoes. I went into the changing rooms and had loads of items in my hands but didn't manage to find anything unfortunately. Overall the New Look will always be wonderful and I can always rely on either getting something or having a good service there. read more

I hate New Look. But at the same time, I love it. I can't bring myself to go to a Primark any more but the New Look temptation still hits me. It's cheap, but you get what you pay for... That being said, for something like a pair of trendy summer shoes, I only need them a few months anyway. I mean really, London summer is pretty much an oxymoron. This time I was going in to pick up a couple of tops and a pair of shoes I ordered online. I don't like getting things delivered to the house if I can avoid it, as the couriers either through parcels over my garden gate and leave them outside, or take them to some depot that I can't get to. As ever with this branch, there was a queue, but it went quickly. What didn't go quickly was the collection of my items. One parcel was found easily but the other? I was there for over half an hour. I got it in the end, and the girl who helped was very nice, but gah. This branch is great as it's really big, and if you come on a weekday, not that busy. And they have lots of shoes, and in my size, which my big feet approve of. I'll be back, but I'll feel a bit cheap afterwards. read more

A bright, clean and large New Look right next to Debenhams caters for men, children, teens and women, including a tall section, Inspire for plus sized wear, Maternity wear and occasional special collections such as the current Gold by Giles collection for Christmas. There is a large section for women's shoes to the rear of the shop, with a small section of underwear and pyjamas. Students receive 10% on the production of an NUS card or a student card with an expiry date. There are around 6 clean dressing room stalls and a separate dressing room for men, although I wouldn't recommend this branch for men looking for a wide selection. There is often a sale rail or two, often hidden round the side or in-between the Inspire and Tall ranges. New Look is a brilliant shop if you're looking for a specific outfit, birthday present or just some clothes for work; their work (Collections?) range of tailoring is a decent price, they have Character t-shirts such as The Muppets, Disney and Tatty Teddy at sensible prices and even their bags and jewellery are a good price if you just want some budget retail therapy. read more

New look is a high street store that has had many famous designers design collections for them including Giles Deacon. They seem to be predominantly aimed towards young women ages 18-30 but they also target men and children. The harrow branch has ranges from all 3 target groups. It is quite a large store with a good layout. There is a vast selection of clothes, and the shoe part at the back of the store is also very big. I have found the staff to be very helpful and friendly in the store and I would definitely recommend it to my friends to shop here. read more

This is a relatively new shop in Harrow, replacing the much smaller one they had before. THis large store has a much bigger range than many New Look stores and is certainly large compared to many of the other high street shops in Harrow so worth visiting. There is a huge shoe section, maternity wear, children's and men's wear aswell as accessories plus a large changing room area. read more
