Unfortunately, out of the 10 or more times I've been in the customer service is deplorable. Not once have my family (visiting tourists), my friends nor myself been acknowledged in anyway either upon entering, browsing or leaving. Total silence. One time I was standing 5' away when a wine seller/or distributor and an employer/owner (older woman with gray hair) were discussing wine placement on a shelf, they were discussing which sells best where etc., When the wine representative or employee suggested based on price vs.taste vs sales a specific shelf for better overall sale's, the employee/owner stated "I don't have sophisticated customers, they won't notice the difference anyway." Hello? I'm a customer sophisticated or not I'd appreciate not being called uncouth while in the shop to spend my money. This was the last time I entered this establishment, which is a shame I had my eyes on 3 wall sconces I was going to purchase. Between the lack of acknowledgement by employees/owner, the total silence (no music or anything) in the background and the uncomfortable feeling of shopping in total silence added to the fact customers are considered unsophisticated I'd personally shop elsewhere. Afterall, I'm sure they don't need unsophisticated money!

Shop did not appear open so I called and left a brief message. We were shortly greeted by the owner. He gave us a tour and his area where he actually does his paintings. His art of game animals is detailed as well as his metal art pieces. Sculptures from live models are like real. A few of his metal art pieces are on the streets in Cda. His style of oil base paintings and entire line of art is a must to see. It's an ooh and awww experience. Owner offers classes which is cool.

I bought quite a few items and went back two weeks later and rented a glass display case for jewelry. They even have a room full of items for just $2 each. Not that great of stuff mind you but still only $2. The nice lady tending the store was very talkative and gave me the rundown when I entered. When I didn't find anything that I was looking for she was very helpful and informed me of other antique shops in the area that I could check out. Overall, a nice and friendly experience. I will check back occasionally for what I'm in search of.

Great little art co-op downtown…read more I stopped in to pick up a print I had purchased from a local artist and was impressed by all the amazing items in the store. Prints, pottery, baskets, woodwork, and a lot more. You could spend a bit of time in the store and come away with some unique, one of a kind local art pieces. Located just behind Aunties Bookstore, next to Barrister's tasting room. You could make a great local day perusing books, art, tasting local wine, and walking the park. I can't wait to go back for a longer browse and purchase an item or two for Mother's Day.

This little co-op is amazing. It has a large variety of different artists for whatever your taste…read moremight be. They have jewelry makers, glass workers, painter, pretty much anything you can think of. The shop is run by the artists themselves, and they are some of the sweetest people. They are very knowledgeable about what is in the store and willing to talk to you about anything if you have any questions. It is all local artists, so it makes for great souvenirs for people coming in from out of town. Or even for locals who want something made locally to decorate their house. One of the really cool things is that each month they have an art show that showcases both artists in their gallery and others who are interested in participating. The work is always changing in both the gallery and the shows so you aren't walking in and seeing the same stuff every time. I find this particularly fun and cool because it gives you a reason to go back and just explore what they have and see new things. It's a small little galley that is located in the Liberty building, right where Auntie's Bookstore and Uncle's games is. It is completely worth checking out if you want to find something unique and original that will remind you of Spokane or the Pacific Northwest.

What pushes them over the top IMO are the extras like maternity clothes and cloth diapering materials. These items are hard to find second-hand, so having a lower cost alternative can make all the difference. I appreciate the cloth diapers especially; deciding whether or not to go cloth is a tough decision, and the huge upfront costs of buying sets can be a hurdle too high. Having the option to buy used is just another factor that makes this relatively "green" choice a bit more appealing. Prices are about average or perhaps a smidge (5%) higher than the big franchise stores. The trade in credit you'll get for used stuff is also about average. In my experience you can expect to get around a third to half of what the used item will retail for, which is about a third to a half of what it retails for new. For example, a brand new $80 high chair will sell here for $40 or less, and you're liable to see $20 or so in trade credit. Not bad. The key is keeping things in prime condition, which is always a challenge. Location is on Argonne Rd. right off the highway. Just exit south and take a left into "Argonne Plaza" after a block or two.

Recently redone to be a kitchen themed store. The displays are lovely and many different items to choose from: books, artwork, cooking utensils, tea & tea accessories, cocktail kits, hand embroidered items, the list goes on. This is a one of a kind place to find one of a kind items. Items for any budget are available. Perfect place to pick up a treat for yourself or a gift for that special someone.
