Bikram as a rule is a great yoga, but this studio is kind of like the lottery. Many of the female…read moreteachers are great, but there is one taller male instructor who you should avoid. He breaks with the spirit of bikram, discusses things like concentration camps and other insensitive things during classes. The facility is carpeted, which is gross. The heat often is much higher than 105 degrees. Hit or miss. Update: 6/2015 I stand by my review of this studio from years ago. I haven't been there since other hot options became available in Traverse City, so I don't know if the experience has changed. Sometimes honesty can be painful, but it is the price of clarity. Consider reading the other reviews of this business before making your decision.
