New South Ford Meridian MS, STAY AWAY from these dealerships. They have a 2025 model that my son was interested in at a discounted price, but the discount wasn't enough since in a few months it'll be two years old and these days you can find a 2026 model of the same model and with the same features for the same price as the 2025, even if it means driving 2 to 4 hours. so we decided to go ask what the price was and see if we could negotiate a better deal since we're in the military. The salesperson was nice, but when he mentioned it to the "sales manager," the manager started spouting a spiel about how he could sell that car for more than they're asking and that he knows every trick in the book. He tried to lecture me on his 12 years of experience in the business I just listened, and I didn't want to be rude. They missed out on a check that would have come in handy at the end of the month especially since we only wanted to negotiate about $1,500 off, and they probably would have ended up with $47,500 with taxes in their pocket because we were going to pay with a check and without financing. Cars depreciate year after year; when you try to trade in your vehicle, if it's in good condition and relatively new, they offer you more money. And even after your car's been in an accident, they factor in the model year more than other things and that's common knowledge..... I just said, "Don't argue--it's pointless." Next week we're driving two hours from our house to buy a car the same model, same trim levels, the color my son wanted and it's even $400 cheaper for a 2026.... New Ford Meridian didn't get my money "thank God" and they're still sitting on a 2025 model that they've been offering at the same price for the last three months which is when my son saw it and paying to keep it at the dealership. It's sad to see how little enthusiasm they have for selling or negotiating; that's why these dealerships don't have many sales. What they do have, though, are plenty of bad reviews about the salespeople and poor service. read more

New South Ford has, on three separate occasions, performed sub standard warranty repairs. They put my life in danger by sending me down the road with an unreported, unannounced temporary repair that catastrophically failed 300 miles later. Upon return Steve Dean, the service manger, was very argumentative and unwilling to acknowledge their failure, until I got Ford Corporate involved. According to him, "he does not need this s%$t" nor does he like unsatisfied customers telling him that he and his staff put their lives in danger. The quality of Ford vehicles is abysmal. My car was not fixed correctly, either. At 65000 my engine needed to be replaced, tech said it was a defect but it was out of warranty so Ford was not responsible and when I got my car back six weeks later, the engine light came on immediately. They said I needed a turbo, also not covered. When they drove me to pick up a rental, the driver made racist comments. I contacted Ford corporate and, to my knowledge, they did nothing about it. service Manage gave us a trade in price of 15,000 on a low cost nada of 23,000 and the reason he said 4x4 did not work came out put in 4x4 (H2 SUT 2009 Hummer) showed him it works he goes up to 17,000 then I asked what would you sell it for and he said 21,500 I told him write up the deal (BUT PUT IN SELLING THE HUMMER FOR NO MORE THAN 21,500) I had cash and it was for a 2021 61,000 f150. he said he couldn't do that. I left my car in the parking lot of Outback Steakhouse. After dinner, I found some one kissed the back of my car and the bumper deflector is broken. Thanks to the person who did that for not leaving any contact info. I had to take this car to New South Ford body shop. They did great. Thank you for the great job you did. read more

After 40 minutes no one had started working on my truck so I requested my keys and went to another business and they pulled me in and 2 technicians worked on my truck And after 15 minutes all fluids checked oil and filter changed . I paid and Left after receiving good service. The quick lane needs to change their name! read more

Inquired about a truck that was listed on AutoTraders by New South Ford . Spoke with a gentleman that assured me there would be zero issues with the truck . It literally had multiple different "maintenance checks" listed on carfax by this dealership . I asked prior to making my trip from Pensacola if the truck checked out and there were zero issues . I was told that it was sound and ready for service . Woke up first thing the next morning and made the 3 hour trip . I noticed immediately upon arrival that there was a puddle of oil under the truck ! Crawled under the vehicle and noticed that the rear main seal was pouring motor oil . It literally took me two minutes to figure this out . Before I came the salesman assured me that the usual inspection at the shop costs "700$" at least so there is definitely nothing wrong . They wasted my time and money . I'm sure the wished I didn't look at the truck ! Buyers beware . read more

I moved to Meridian in July 2016 and on the way my AC gave out. Took my Mustang to New South Ford and they replaced the compressor and also replaced the driver's side air bag in accordance with a recall. When I got my car back, the metal running horse in the middle of the wheel was completely scratched up, probably from a tech putting it down and not protecting it. Complained to the service writer and eventually spoke to the service manager, who told me a new part was still being engineered as part of the recall (then how was my car serviced with new parts for the recall) and eventually questioned whether the scratching had happened in his shop. He told me as soon as the part was available, they'd call me to replace it. I went to another Ford dealership and said they could get the steering wheel cover in a week and had no idea what the service manager was talking about. Still never got a call about replacing the cover they scratched up. To add onto that, I had to have the AC charged less than a year later by another shop. Finally, I had a slightly weird feel in the clutch for a couple days but it subsided. Questioning New South Ford's service department's honesty and professionalism, I took it to them just to see what they'd say. Of course they told me I needed to replace the entire clutch and pressure plate assembly for $1200. Took it to another shop who said nothing was wrong. This service department is clearly full of liars and dishonest people, not unlike many dealership service departments. Do not trust them and avoid going to them at all costs. read more

My father's Explorer was in the body shop over 3 weeks due to us hitting a deer while on vacation, we're from OH. They didn't make all obvious and necessary repairs to his vehicle. Once we finally retrieved the vehicle we got to TN and the engine light came on, so we had to go to another Ford dealership where they discovered other obvious repairs that had not been completed. My husband called the body shop and he said oh I saw that but we didn't touch it (blatant obvious damage). Mind you they had my number because I called at least twice a week to see if the truck was ready. We were advised by dealership in TN it was safe to continue on to OH. Once we got home we have had to take it to the shop twice. I have called numerous times leaving messages for not only the body shop but the owner as well and neither have called me back, which is total unacceptable and unprofessional. I did appreciate April and all her help, she was always pleasant and helpful. I don't recommend getting your vehicle serviced at this body shop. read more
