I completed all the demo to save cost and time and we purchased all of the materials and had it all there and ready for them. Miguel was great to take this all into consideration when bidding the job and really kept it cost conscious. Miguel beat out the other roughly 8-10 companies we had contacted, and his service coverage is vast. His team is meticulous, they take their time, and ask questions when needed to ensure they are staying on plan. They started on a Monday and were done the following week only because I had a work trip... if not for that they would have had it wrapped up in the week. Our Project: Home was built in 2004. 48x36 shower with a original fiberglass insert with a seat. With the seat you lost a lot of square footage leaving it a challenge for even one person to shower. I completed all the demo to save on time and cost. We went with 12x24 tiles vertical in the shower from floor to ceiling, 18x24 custom neiche with pebble in the neiche and floor (see pictures), replaced all water lines with new pex and new valve and Delta set, raised the shower head roughly 6 inches. We also had the entire floor tiled with 12x24 tile (horizontal) at the same time as it was easier to do once the tiler started. I don't like heights very much. But I will say that Ricky with Lanes Contracting and his crew are superior at what they do and they stand by their work you can turn your back and go about your business and trust that when you turn back around you'll be amazed. I paid the contractor in cash for their services. And I got a phone call a couple hours later stating that I gave them $50 more than the total for the work. A lot of companies would have never called me back to return the $50 these guys did!!! Their trust worthy and they do an excellent job if I could give them 10 out of 10 stars I would.
