But when I saw the provider I felt completely uncomfortable and like I was not being listened to what so ever. I was trying to explain that I was sent here in order to be able to schedule a laparoscopy and he asked me for a general history of why I believe I have endometriosis. I explained my situation of constant pain over the past 10 years of having my menstrual but also explaining the past four have had worse pain accompanied by stomach problems and other emotional and physical problems. He asked if I had depression or anxiety and I said yes to both. He asked if I had weight gain or weight loss and I stated yes to both as well. He stated he believes I don't have endometriosis and just have a mood disorder that I need to have treated. I have been in extreme pain, done the MRI and ultrasound and all of the other tests necessary just to be told I have a mood disorder? When something was found in the MRI that made my OBGYN believe I need to have a laparoscopy done??? I felt completely disrespected as a patient and I do not wish to have a laparoscopy done with a provider that just wants to do the exam to "check that off the list" just so he can tell me he saw nothing and that this pain and all these symptoms I have are just in my head. I have had providers who don't listen to me and ignored my symptoms in the past, but this truly takes the cake for me.

As many of these nonentities are simply ripping off your insurance company, and they're on board with it as well.

He is caring, listens, and is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. He's conservative with medications (an excellent quality) and, if meds are necessary, he knows how to "finesse" them so they work well for each individual and their different needs/drug reactions and interactions. Anyone would be lucky to have Dr. Wang as their physician. I drive all the way to Redlands from Pasadena just to see this great man.

He takes the time, gives a direct access number to patients(which I use often, probably too much) he responds quickly and is very resourceful. The office staff is kind. They get pretty busy, every department, and often don't reply back, unless I text him and tell them I can't get a hold of anyone, and then they call immediately ( and I do mean immediate, I'll still be in the middle of a text message with him and they will call) Other than that, I am very happy with the care I receive.
