But when I saw the provider I felt completely uncomfortable and like I was not being listened to what so ever. I was trying to explain that I was sent here in order to be able to schedule a laparoscopy and he asked me for a general history of why I believe I have endometriosis. I explained my situation of constant pain over the past 10 years of having my menstrual but also explaining the past four have had worse pain accompanied by stomach problems and other emotional and physical problems. He asked if I had depression or anxiety and I said yes to both. He asked if I had weight gain or weight loss and I stated yes to both as well. He stated he believes I don't have endometriosis and just have a mood disorder that I need to have treated. I have been in extreme pain, done the MRI and ultrasound and all of the other tests necessary just to be told I have a mood disorder? When something was found in the MRI that made my OBGYN believe I need to have a laparoscopy done??? I felt completely disrespected as a patient and I do not wish to have a laparoscopy done with a provider that just wants to do the exam to "check that off the list" just so he can tell me he saw nothing and that this pain and all these symptoms I have are just in my head. I have had providers who don't listen to me and ignored my symptoms in the past, but this truly takes the cake for me.

All of us were taken care off well. However, Dr Limon retired Optum took over the communications between patients and the office is very poor. At that time we were able to call directly to the office now it directs us to a call center. Which I understand the transition and taking over of a new organization. The main thing is when we call for a follow up regarding a medication, authorization or general question we don't get any call backs. I like my Nurse Practitioner Josette Dutton and the girls at the front desk I've known them for a while now. But who ever is running this office is very poor. All we want is a phone call back. I don't want to wait for a few days or weeks or months then call the call center again. My Uncle who had applied for IHSS was denied due to the form that was not filled out and faxed back to the county. My cousin had to leave work and drive to the office. I called Optum to see if could speak directly to the office manager. Ashley from Optum did see that there were notes that my cousin had been following up regards to her father's health certification form. I'm hoping this review will help the office to have sense of urgency to call patients back.
