Can't dock them for that because who wants to lose their job. Their stand on what a student can wear to school is also a bit over the top but never under estimate the ability of a few conservative thinkers to rule the masses. But hey, its a safety (save the children from gangs). kind of thing I guess. I could dock them for that but in the end it's only clothes. As I said before though, good schools, so why not a five. Well, here is my reason. I have a huge problem with their 730 start of school. It is UTTERLY ABSURD that children have to get up that early. It's feels like the middle of the night. When did we join the military? What is wrong with 8 or 830. It worked for us when we went to school. Well the answer is buses. Yes buses. There are not enough of them. It's not like this is the fastest growing district in Kentucky. It's not like there is no tax base to draw from for that bus or two. Good schools but what a stupid problem to have. Not enough buses. Now you will have to excuse me as I need to milk a cow or two (might as well take advantage of getting up well before the crack of dawn to drag a kid to school. )

I went to see the Cincinnati Men's Chorus 2018 holiday show (courtesy of Yelp - thank you!). The space was absolutely fantastic. I love the regal feel of the old theater architecture: it's a hybrid of Neo-Classical meets Art Deco: simply stunning! There are so many cool architectural features including a Greek/Roman nautical theme, and beautiful Rookwood drinking fountains. Who could help being inspired when studying/learning/performing in such a grand space? It's so great to see the obvious pride and alumni involvement that Walnut Hills has reflected in the preservation of their beautiful campus.

My understanding is that it offers more AP classes than any other school in the country. I was in the class of 2004. I had an amazing experience at the "'Nut". I made friends there that I shall keep for years to come. This education changed my life for the better. The teachers are all inspiring and amazing. I spent a lot of my time in the theater and music department with Mr. Peters, Mrs. Peters, and Mr. Ben Basone. These teachers inspired me to devote my life to the arts. I have emerged as a well rounded and driven adult who has become an actor, singer, stage manager, and now an arts marketer devoted to spreading the arts throughout. The school is incredibly diverse and offers a lot of resources for any type of student. I would recommend this school to any parent who wants their kids to get a great education. However, there is a test to gain entry. Now don't freak out... is passable unless you are a complete idiot. One of the questions is, "How many sides does a triangle have."

I can only review based on the baby room, so I'm unfamiliar with what the previous reviewer was…read moretalking about. But as far as baby rooms go, this one is pretty great. My daughter previously went to one of the "best" daycares in Bloomington (and most expensive!!). But, only the best for her, as they say. Anyway, at the end of the day she seemed ready to go. Like she'd had a nice, full day but that was that... Here I have to practically drag her away kicking and screaming! She just can't get enough. I really love that Mandy and Jess are completely child led. The day's activities are based on what the kids feel like doing, and everyday is an adventure. Lots of times the babies will mingle with the ECP classroom, or even bigger kids than that on the playground. Ani LOVES school. I will say that it is still fairly expensive (and in fact if she were to go for the same number of hours that she went to her previous school, it would actually be more expensive). However, we live in the US and that's the current state of affairs. I do really appreciate that they charge by the hour, so you can monitor what you'll end up paying each month and make it fit what you need. Mandy and Jess really do adore the kids and I am so happy to be able to send my girl there!

Some of the smartest and nicest people I know go here. Harmony is truly a community, and I know almost everyone here. Everyone here is welcoming and thoughtful. Unfortunately not everyone who applies can get in to this wonderful place, because it's such a small school. However the community is large, and welcomes any one who joins. I can't tell you how many stars I would this place, but since 5 is the most, I'll give it that.
