Then when they got here, it was nothing but top notch professionalism. I got a super quick analysis of the mechanical issue hindering my garage's ability to open up and down smoothly. I have some familiarity with garages so I was somewhat aware of the issue, so to hear them confirm that & not give me a host of "other issues" with the garage was nice. I got a fair price from them, and they were on their way. Tidy, neat, professional. Will definitely deal with when future problems pop up.

So a few days ago, the house I acquired a few years, the garage door started to act funny, getting stuck etc. After asking around for recommendations I didn't get a wholehearted one so I turned to yelp. I read a few reviews of this establishment so I decided to give a try. First, the person who answered the phone was friendly and understanding as I was describing sounds and all that's not professional jargon but he got the drift and told me that someone can come the same day to take a look. I didn't expect that but was delighted. The two young men who came to check the problem were Mateo and Alex, nice young men who are professional and courteous. They check the problem and explain to my hubby and myself of the problem and also they didn't try to pull a fast one over us by trying to sell us a brand new system ( which I cannot afford at this time anyway). They came back the next day promptly of the time they promised but ran a little late because of the traffic which is understandable because we are in Bay Ridge and they had to go over that terrible bridge traffic. Once they are here they went straight to work and they even cleaned up afterwards!!! They offered to remove the old stuff that they replaced. They even got me two additional remotes and programmed so I didn't just have one which my 15 yo almost lost it once. I got a rough estimate over the phone and scheduled for today. Got a text confirmation and a follow up call to confirm closer to my appt time. Gadi agreed I needed to upgrade my very old garage door opener and suggested updating some of the hardware as well, springs, pulleys etc... His price was very reasonable and he and his assistant got to work right away and finished in a couple hours. He showed me all his work and explained the new equipment. Unfortunately, after that things have gone significantly downhill. When the painters left they pushed all of my living room furniture to the middle of the room and said when the crew came back the following week to paint the baseboards and install the doors they'd put everything back. That happened on March 22nd. Since then, week after week they keep promising to try to come back and week after week they are no shows. I even explained to them that our building is expected to have a freeze on construction projects this week due to an impending strike so can they please wrap up this job before then, and they said yes but are now not responding to emails. I hope they ultimately make good on their service contract and I will update this review if that happens. For now, please steer clear, fellow yelpers.
