However, I am now receiving bills totaling over $900, which were never clearly explained to me in advance. The issue with my insurance also remains unresolved. After contacting my insurance, I was informed that there appear to be billing errors associated with these charges, which raises serious concerns about how my visit was processed. During that same visit, I waited for more than an hour without any clear communication. When I respectfully explained that I could not continue waiting, the interaction with the front desk felt dismissive, unprofessional, and lacking basic respect. As a Latino patient whose first language is not English, I felt discriminated against and unsupported during this experience. The overall situation made me uncomfortable and concerned about whether I was treated differently due to language or background. I submitted a formal complaint at the clinic on January 22 regarding this situation, and to date I have not received any response or follow-up. At this point, my main concerns are the lack of transparency in billing, the unresolved insurance issue, the reported billing errors, and the absence of any accountability after formally reporting what happened. The clinical director Kirk walks around like he is king and don't dare cross him. He will terminate you on the spot and there is no appeal. But I must say that some of the clients at Revcore are some of the most interesting and courageous men I have ever known. Too bad they get treated with no respect. Just ask them. Some parole officers will send you there even of you live in another borough. But, if you have a choice do not go to this corrupt place (I have three different complaints filed with OASAS in Albany).

I told him I felt very scammed and he had no empathy at all and he wouldnt budge or even explain. When dealing with an addiction specialist I think its very important to find a doctor that cares about their patients and empathizes with the disease and not just their money and who is up front and honest with terms and above all is good to their word. His office experience is great, when he was over in warren county- the office was clean, organized and the nurses on staff are very helpful. He is a smooth and attentive salesman for the first session or so to draw you in, but then will milk you by withholding prescription refills until you buy appointments in advance - HIGHLY UNETHICAL. Due to work, I was unable to make a follow-up within 4 weeks of my last appointment, and he refused to refill my prescription for the month until I paid him for a full appointment to be conducted later. Then, when I came into that appointment, he refused to refill the remainder of my prescriptions because I had only specified one specific one that NEEDED to be prescribed and did not "specify the others" when I made that appointment, and would not refill them unless I paid for another appointment in advance. Completely unethical! Furthermore, he has such an inflated sense of ego - he is more interested than lecturing you in what he thinks is what is wrong with your perspective or your experiences instead of actually listening to what you have to say. He talked more in our sessions than I did. Additionally, for my first 2 appointments, he was OVER THIRTY MINUTES LATE. I waited in the hallway outside his office for THIRTY MINUTES both times, and he still charged me more than half of the full amount for the session. The only reason I had to see him for so long was that I had trouble finding appointments with other doctors near my work. DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITH HIM.
