This is what separates Elegant from other schools . I earned my CDL class B , and my driving instructor was Raphael who showed an immense amount of patience and determination to helping me through all the lessons and just making me feel comfortable behind the wheel. I will also like to thank the support of the lady who works at the office who (I apologize I don't remember Her name off the top of my head) big shoutout to you guys for the support and not giving up on me when I struggled to feel confident ,you guys truly showed Elegance.

I mainly took this lesson to supplement for when my current instructor can't take me for lessons, is busy, etc. The Elegant driving school instructor, Hyra was unreceptive to any form of driving that isn't the way he does it. He explicitly told me hand over hand is unacceptable, EVEN while turning which is completely untrue. In fact, it's the preferred method according to many driving experts. I would not recommend Elegant Driving school or their services to anyone.

Boy was I wrong when I tell you how thorough and professional Tony was he was great taught me the proper way to do everything you need to pass that dreaded road test the first time. Tony to me is by far the best when it comes to preparing and tightening up from all levels of driving I promise you go see Tony asap he's a legend. Unprofessional customer service. Never will I ever recommend or use this school again. $330 for 5…read morelessons, 5 hour class and road tests seemed like a great deal. I informed them that the person doing the 5 hour class was over an hour late and said they were unprofessional & Chris decided to be rude and sarcastic with me via text and then called to go off on me via phone. Also, they didn't allow us to schedule the times for our classes; they scheduled them for us and even changed the time at their convenience. Now, they are giving me issues rescheduling my road test saying I have to pay an additional $60, because I didn't have my learners permit for the 1st road test and missed it. The instructor Jose was cool and kind, but his constant criticism made my nerves really bad while driving. It wasn't a good learning/driving experience for me. I just want my 5 hour certificate and nothing else to do with them!

At first glance, it looks just like a doctor's office with a little white waiting room and a window…read morefor the receptionist to speak through. But once I got through the door into the aforementioned area, I was greeted with respect and courtesy by Mari (the receptionist). She explained everything to the T and her explanations were crystal clear. In fact, when I was getting ready to pay for the 8 lessons package, she asked me how many lessons I had prior to coming to this school (which was at the time a combined total of 27 lessons). So Mari set me up with Martha, who was an excellent driving instructor! Then the 5 hour class for my 5 hour certificate was via Zoom with other students, and I felt like I was in a real classroom, with rules and whatnot. Mr. Sall was excellent and made sure that we drivers-to-be take this as a huge responsibility and not as a game! Martha gave me excellent pointers on how to parallel park properly, which really helped me in the long term. She took her time to help me fine tune my driving skills. On the day of the road test, I remembered all the lessons in my head and needless to say, I passed my road test! Thank you, Harlem Driving School, for helping me get my driver's license!
