When you play the course, the fairways are extremely pure and the greens are always in incredible shape. There are a few holes that are played right next to the river which provide a beautiful view and great area to slice a ball into ;). In fact, the entire course is beautiful. Walking up to the 9th green you have a nice view of the clubhouse and pond. The staff at the bar are friendly and make great conversation.

As a new comer, the staff was welcoming and helpful in ensuring I knew the basics and recommended routes to take that would be beneficial for a beginner and definitely had fun doing so. They also have military, student, or first responder discounts and that includes admissions, shoes, and harness; price was very fair. This place certainly had a wide array of equipment for even power lifting, ninja warrior stations, bouldering walls, and plenty of rock walls. You do have to be certified by them to belay on your own, so I stuck with the auto belay walls; just wish there were a little more selection of auto belay walls. Overall, I had a great time and rather you're a beginner or experienced, highly recommend this place if you're into bouldering or wall climbing.

There is a designated kid area with really easy climbs so bring your kids here for exercise or birthday party!! There is also a table tennis and conditioning areas which I use when I'm too tired to climb. I do wish the bouldering area was bigger and had more beginner friendly routes but it might be that i'm just really weak lol. The day pass and the membership price are average for climbing, overpriced if you are expecting gym membership price but so worth it if you like climbing. Overall, an amazing place to visit with your family in the Augusta area!

I've golfed (very poorly for the most part) for about eight years, mostly on public golf courses and I've played several Robert Trent Jones courses in Alabama in Huntsville (Hampton Cove) and I believe, Cullman Alabama. The most lovely course I've played is the Ledges in southeast Huntsville, high atop a mountain and it's a really beautiful private course with very expensive homes in the neighborhood. The Augusta National Golf Club golf course puts any golf course I have seen or played on to shame in terms of absolutely manicured tees, fairways, bunkers, greens, and entire grounds! Pro tip: enter the lottery each and every year! This year, my husband won four practice round tickets for Tuesday, April 7, 2026! Face value of the tickets was $500.00 and it is free to enter the lottery you just provide your name, email, and mailing address. Tuesday is a fantastic day to be at the practice rounds because it's not the traditional Par 3 day which is Wednesday, and the players are out and really practicing along with their caddies who are working their rear ends off taking copious notes about each hole. You would be amazed at the great views you get of the world's greatest golfers! We saw: Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson, Daniel Berger, Sam Burns, Nicolas Echavarria, Harris English, Sergio Garcia, Harry Hall, Sungjae Im, Michael Kim, Si Woo Kim, Jake Knapp, Brooks Koepka, Collin Morikawa, Mateo Pulcini, Xander Schauffele, Scottie Scheffler, Adam Scott, Sepp Straka, and Cameron Young. Go early! We got there around 6:30 AM and stayed till around 3:30. The eats are cheap and fairly good. We loved the (locally Church made) egg salad sandwiches, and my step-son-in-law liked the BBQ (?) chicken sandwich. The legendary pimento cheese, to me, is just okay. All the sandwiches are on a white Wonder bread type of bread which is not my favorite, and it's not toasted. Still, each sandwich is only $1.50. You can't bring in food or beverages. They sell a type of sports drink that tasted like hydrated powdered Gatorade that was awful in my opinion, beer, wine, water, and not delicious coffee. They probably have other beverage options. Wear comfortable clothing and avoid denim anything. You cannot have a cell phone on practice round days, bring a digital camera with an 8 inch or less lens, or a lot of people were using disposable cameras. The lines for merchandise are ridiculously long and remained that way the day we were there. Plan on 30 minutes just to get into one of the merchandise areas. There are smaller booths selling just Masters baseball styled hats in various spots around the course and those lines appeared to move more quickly. Richard S., is right: the folks working the tournament are very uplifting, polite, and helpful. The restrooms are truly spotless and again, you would be hard pressed to find a more lovely golf course! Given the opportunity do see the Masters in person! I'm so hopeful we get to see the tournament on an actual tournament day! You truly feel you are a part of history!

In the middle of our dinner they put loud music on right behind our table so we couldn't even hear ourselves speak. I don't know if thy were trying to get us out or were just oblivious to us trying to enjoy our dinner. It was the rudest thing I have ever experienced at a restaurant. We immediately asked for our bill before we had all finished eating. We were planning on having desert and another round of drinks but instead just left. An evening ruined. Very unprofessional

The boat ramp can get pretty busy on the weekends but there is a nice loop you can do that let's put into the river and then back. There is a rope swing at one point of you don't mind getting in the murky water. It is a peaceful kayak route.

This is my local park & I've been going here for years. It has a walking track, a tennis court, a…read morebasketball court, 3 softball/baseball fields and some soccer fields. It also has a small playset for younger children. It is also located by a little creek. They have been doing a lot of remodeling & renovating during the past year. You can visibly see where they use their funds to make improvements. The park is well kept. You can rent/reserve fields for games or practices. It is also very community friendly as they usually allow different groups to hold events there. I've seen the concession stand open sometimes when there were soccer games, there is an annual Easter Egg hunt there, the North Augusta rock group held a swap there, and many families like to hold birthday parties there. During the off season, sometimes the softball fields aren't always completely kept up. One or two of the fields may be missing bases or a pitching rubber, but another field usually will have it. It is still a great place to go.
