They normally have what I need and the prices of things are average. The staff seem to be quite nice and friendly. The shop is easy to access and there are parking spaces outside that are shared between all of the Wolds shops so you can stop off quickly and easily to pick something up. They do a lot of newspaper deliveries from this shop. Sometimes there are a lot of people from the school waiting outside the shop because only a few are allowed in at once.

Cut price books welcome you as you enter and there's always a bargain to be had, particularly on the natural history and cookery books. It is also has the usual range of stationery and vast range of cards, for every possible occasion you can think of. This particular 'smiths has a good range of cut price DVDs and occasionally CDs, where you can always pick up a bargain. The chart DVDs and CDs though are seriously overpriced, compared to internet retailers. The magazine section is comprehensive for such a small shop, so if theres a magazine you're looking for, you'll probably get it here. A great local shop and a must visit, when we're in Ashby.

As well as games they sell consoles, books and accessories. They sell a great range of pre owned games as well as new games. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Game does seem to be a bit more expensive than other games shops so I check the prices at other places too. There is enough room to move around in this shop even though queues do get quite long.
