I wish 1/2 stars were a thing because while this visit wasn't bad, I also wouldn't really recommend this place. My son spiked a fever out of nowhere, dry cough, red patchy throat. We have Kaiser and generally I'd take him to children's urgent care off Hwy 7 but ever since the remodel they seem to be coding everyone as ER and that co-pay is a lot higher. I looked up Kaiser urgent care and this is way closer than an actual Kaiser for anyone in the North area in the evening. First of all, there is no triage, it's so weird. You walk in and the person at the front desk tells you to scan a QR code and fill the stuff out. No "what are you being seen for, no vitals taken." It would be less rude to just not have that person sitting up front TBH. Anyway, the person wasn't rude - the way it's set up is. I filled the forms out and we were taken back by someone, idk she didn't really say her name or title. She weighed my son and asked about meds. Odd the intake form didn't ask me about meds for him but wanted my name 52 times. We were taken to a room, someone came in, didn't ask any questions or examine my son, and did a strep test and then told us there were 4 people in front of us. On one hand, I appreciate taking my suspicion of strep seriously... on the other, you should probably actually examine him? Like, what? We waited about 1/2 hour - not crazy for urgent care - and then a nurse came in and asked if he had diarrhea. No hi, no checking a patient name. In fact, he wasn't given a wrist band at all nor any other way to identify who he was. We said no and then she said she had the wrong room and left. What if he did, ironically, have diarrhea? Would she assume he was the other patient? A about 10 minutes later the same nurse came back, asked about symptoms and looked at his throat. No other exam. She did not check lymph nodes, his ears, ask about headaches, check his temperature again. She asked if he had a runny nose or a cough. Told us the strep test was negative, did not say anything about sending it to the lab, said she thought maybe it was still bacterial and ordered antibiotics. Mind you, there are a thousand signs all over this place about not overprescribing antibiotics which made this kinda ironic. She spent, maybe, 4 minutes with him. She asked minimal questions. After she wrote the script we just kind of assumed that was it and left. No follow up, no discharge papers or even an "ok, good to go". You just kinda assume it's done and walk out? So weird. In conclusion, if you aren't actually worried about something and want a quick in and out strep/covid/flu test it's probably faster than most and apparently you can also make an appointment. If you actually want to be examined or are worried about something more serious... don't go here. Also, someone came in with what clearly looked like a broken ankle and they let them check in before telling them there was no X-ray machine AND the company they use wasn't open until the next day. read more

Upon seeing the reviews for this care facility I was hesitant to go, but this one is closest to me and covered by my insurance. Please disregard one star reviews having to do with Covid. Everything is hard for healthcare workers right now, there are shortages beyond their control and those reviews are not proper reflections of their service. If you don't want to wait, download SOLV. You can get in line from home or make an appointment. Otherwise, there will probably be a wait time because it's a walk-in clinic. You walk in and wait. Honestly. The staff at this urgent care were patient and prompt. They only had one doctor working so it was a tad longer wait than usual, but they were kind and efficient when I was being seen and knew what they were doing! Thanks to my nurse and doctor for being so personable and listening to what I'm going through. I really appreciate your candor and decorum. read more

My wife was in an auto accident and was told to go to an urgent care facility. You literally TURNED US AWAY and told us to go to another medical clinic, even though we have health insurance and she needed to be seen exigently. The other place you referred us, which claimed to specialize in auto injuries, turned us away, saying we "needed to file a claim first," even though their leaflet said "walk-ins welcome." Well, we are now at one of your competitors, who accepted us with no problems. You might want to get your ducks in a row. I won't be sending anybody your way ever again! read more

My profile says California, but I am in Thornton, CO. Yelp does not let me change this, We went in for nasty, prolonged (over 2 months) cough, very tired, coughing thick phlegm. The MD was not very in depth with the exam. Did not check the chest and front lungs, only a quick check of back lungs. Took swabs for covid and flu which came back negative, sent for chest x-ray. Upon checking with Dr. Google, it sounds more like acute bronchitis, in which case an antibiotic is suggested. Do not think this is a place to be returned to. read more

Left work early, drove across town to bring him for his appointment only to be told that they can't let me do it here because he has Medicaid and they won't let me pay cash for it either. The most inefficient staff I have EVER been subjected to. I was at a 9 pain level for what I thought may have been a broken or fractured hip. The nurse or staff offered me no assistance in walking not a wheelchair not an arm. The joke of a physician's assistant didn't even examine me she never put me on the table or touched me. She sent me in for x-rays. Came back said I wasn't broken and there was nothing she could do. I then headed to the ER North Suburban where they took amazing care of me! They wheeled me in a wheelchair, placed me in a bed, x-rayed me properly. Diagnosed me gave me medication for the pain. Don't ever waste your time or effort on an urgent care they are all a joke. Last urgent care I went to was eight years ago where I was diagnosed with meningitis went to the ER only to find out it was actually pneumonia. I don't recommend this place at all. Only use as last resort. They are very unprofessional and rude. Especially Wendy. I went in for a COVID-19 test. I'm having surgery and the surgeon requested the test. Wendy asked me a few questions, if I had a fever or cough. I said no, her reply was, "then why are you getting tested?" I politely told her, "having surgery and the surgeon requested it." She has the referral from the surgeon in her hand and threw a fit that I was getting tested without having symptoms of COVID. Then she asked what i was having surgery for. Not really any of her business, she's not my doctor. I told her it was an "elective surgery". She got pissed because I wouldn't tell her. After calling the TRICARE nurse advice line and being referred to NextCare because of the lack of appointment availability at my base, I was still questioned "why didn't you just go to sick call" Excuse me? I followed the instructions I was given. All I asked was for an absence slip from work and I was lectured for why he thinks his absence slip won't do anything. Sir, that's not for you to determine. Your past military experience does not make you an expert on how things are currently done. Additionally, if your diagnosis of my symptoms indicates I will not feel well enough for work tomorrow, why would you want me or anyone to go through this process again the next day? Whether or not you agree with how absence slips are accepted at my job should not be your reasoning for not writing one for more than 24hrs. The level of care provided was not satisfactory at all. My first review was removed so here we go again. On presidents day my husband had lower back pain, as he has had kidney stones in the past we assumed this to be the issue. Upon arriving at the clinic we told the receptionist we believe him to have a kidney stone. She had us fill out paperwork. She asked for insurance and was made aware we are on unemployment, not on insurance, so self pay. It took only a few moments to be seen as office was empty. We told the young man taking his vitals we believe him to have a kidney stone. He had him give a urine specimen. 3 minutes later the Dr. was in the room so good response time. He stood in the room and stated, "We have no treatments or test for Kidney stones here so you will need to go to the E.R. We were stunned. Why did you make the appointment, why didn't one of the other staff simply let us know you have no test nor treatments for what we were here for? For 5 minutes in your facility, where we were welcomed with open arms to sit and await the Dr. to TELL us you do not test nor treat for this, we were charged $230. We are on unemployment and unable to carry our COBRA payment and uninsured. We told your person that when we arrived. We still had to go to an emergency room for his care. My God, what have we become that my money was more important to your Doctors and care providers than a human beings health. Why would I need you to take a urine sample when you knew you would be sending me to the hospital without anything futher from you. This was simply wrong. Your desk sign states: If we are unable to diagose or treat your symtoms payment is still due. I asked how this applies when I stated up front that this is a kidney stone. I was upfront and verbalized our needs. Your staff simply carried on with a wallet walking thru your doors knowing the entire time we would receive no care with you. I asked the young lady at the desk why this was not a conversation so we could make an informed decision on his care and our finances. She appologized very kindly and stated she cant do that she would be fired. There is no integrity in your buisness practices. And we were left with no pride, no money and no care for my husband. Shame on you! I was referred to you by a friend who stated you have an insurance program that can make appointments less painful. We were not offered anything. $230 for your visit today. Horrible service. There was literally no one but me and my dad here for an appt. it took an hour and we are still waiting for results from an x-ray. They are not friendly except for the front desk people. When your sick I expected a little care and compassion. Go somewhere else, even if you have to drive an hour!!! read more

I honestly do not understand all these bad reviews. I've been to them 3x in the last six months and have had nothing but stellar service. First visit my son broke his wrist and the NP Tracey was awesome (she even called me 2 days later to check up on her referrals. Genuinely kind and caring) 2nd visit with NP Stephanie for my son whom got the flu a, again kind, nurturing and great service. 3rd visit for my dtgr who had a fall at school and met with NP John - again excellent caring service.Never felt rushed always asked us thorough questions and answered all our concerns. Receptionist are always nice and we've never had to wait longer than 15-20mins to see anyone. Office is clean, friendly and in a nice shopping center. Plenty of parking and they have a well stocked vending machine ;)Highly recommend read more

I'm a caregiver for my sister Yaminah like everyone knows we are still dealing with COVID. My sister came down with symptoms a week ago I don't know why I waited so long to get her tested but I did I finally made her an appointment online at NextCare urgent Care which was so easy and Fast. I was hesitant because I read a bunch of bad reviews but I gave them a chance. The next day I called just to make sure I made the appointment correctly and the Lady I spoke with was more then helpful, She answered all my questions with patience and with a great attitude. When I took my sister to her appointment we had to wait outside till her appointment time because she probably had Covid which was no problem. I was a little nervous how they were going to treat my sister Because she is special needs but to my surprise they were greeted her with smiles and the nurse sweet with her she walked her threw the steps of the Covid testing, made my sister feel comfortable and the rest was over in less then 10 seconds. The doctor came in not even a minute later. She as well came in with smiles introduced herself and made her feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. The Nurse and Doctor were both very nice and professional. I have nothing negative to say about our visit. Everything went smooth and well from the check in, the wait time, to the appointment. Went in for a cut on my shin. Paid $75 copay, saw doctor right away who told me to go to ER, she couldn't help me. They robbed me of $75. No services rendered. I have to work very hard for $75 and medical costs are expensive as it is without used car dealer tactics. read more

I have been to this clinic twice and received no care both times. Their website says no appointments are required for their instant result COVID testing. I tried 3 days in a row to get an appointment and still couldn't get one. No one answers the phone so I couldn't schedule an appointment over the phone. Their employees were not there until after 8 when it was supposed to open. I got there right when it opened and called to let them know I would like a test and was on hold for 18 minutes just for them to say that the website is inaccurate. They offered no solutions and said they couldn't get me an appointment at that location at a later date. I do not recommend because they just waste your time. read more

Came here the other day because of flu like symptoms and because my dog gave me ringworm. The doctor (Jeromy Wilson) prescribed me 'terbinafine' for the ringworm. Today I went to a dermatologist and was told that the doctor should have never given me that medication without taking blood work to make sure my liver is functioning properly. Which he didn't. So he gave me a medication that could have made me very sick because he decided to not do the proper diagnostics. read more

This was my first visit and I used their online check-in service thinking I could relay on it. It said they'd let me know if my 3:15PM time would change, I got a text at 2:45 stating I should be getting ready for my 3:15 appt. When I got there at 2:55PM I was told there were 2 patients in front me and it would be about an hour more. I had to wait way longer than an hour before they called my name, I wasted my day and scheduled things around by relaying on this unreliable service. read more

They were incompetent in their healthcare services; they didn't ask me standard questions for my diagnosis, failed to order my prescription, and regularly did not return my phone calls. On the one occasion that they called me to inform me of my blood test results, they provided me with false information that I only found out about on my next visit! read more

I do not recommend this place. I came here in April of 2021 for a COVID test. Their website said no appointment required. I called the number that was on the sign in the parking lot and told them I was there for a COVID test. The female that answered the phone was very rude. I waited in my car for 2 1/2 hours before someone came out to test me. She did the test and instructed me to wait there until someone called me with results. At no time was I told there would be a charge for this test. The next month I get a bill for $265.00. I called to find out what the bill was for with the understanding that all COVID testing was supposed to be free. Again, the person I spoke to on the phone was rude. She said the charge was for the rapid test. I was never given the option for a rapid test or a normal test. I received another bill in June. I sent it back to them with my insurance information and told them to bill my insurance. I didn't receive another bill from them. In August, I received notice that my insurance paid their portion of the bill. I figured I would be getting another statement from Nextcare for the remainder of the bill which was my co-pay, but didn't. In September I received notice from a Collection Agency that Nextcare had turned the bill over for collection. I would not recommend this place for any kind of care. I should have listened to the news report that was on TV a few years ago about Urgent Care facilities overcharging for services. read more

Absolutely terrible place. I came in for an abscess under my left breast, shortness of breath and severe pain. The doctor on duty came out, looked at me IN THE WAITING ROOM WITH NO EXAMINATION and said "I don't have any pain meds for you. This is just a panic attack". Furious, I left, to be later admitted into the hopsital. Don't go here. Save yourself the stress of shitty doctors. read more

By far the best Urgent Care I've ever been to. I will be going back. The only negative I would say is the wait to process, test results, etc. which is to be expected at urgent care. I would say the wait was pretty standard compared to other urgent care. I'm only venting because I'm not feeling great and now I have to wait for my prescription to process cause it was accidentally sent to wrong pharmacy. The administration seemed very friendly and outgoing while they were entertaining some other patients. My nurse offered to turn down the AC and gave me blanket while I waiting because I was running a fever and was freezing. That's the kind of service I'm looking for when looking for medical providers. They treat you like a human and not a number. read more

Came here because of lower back pain. Signed in at 10:52am and PAID my co-pay..... wait time stated 45 minutes. Sat in the waiting room until 1pm. At that point, we were taken back to a room, with the nurse stating, "the doctor is just finishing up with a patient, then she'll be right in". 38 minutes later, my partner steps out to find out how long it was going to be... The nurse responds that the doctor will be in as soon as possible... The doctor ( who is sitting right next to the nurse ) says, "there is only one of me". I said I can't wait anymore, the doctor said, "You can leave". I said I want my $50 back.... Doc says they can help you at the front counter. I request a refund at the front counter, and stated I wanted corporates phone number. She asked me if I wanted to speak to the manager, I said sure. Manager comes out, and I say I want a refund and corporate's phone number. She refused both!!! ( How do you refuse a refund for services NOT provided??? ). I said fine.. don't give me corporates number, but I want a refund. She said she wouldn't refund me the money until I left the premises... who leaves the premises without a refund.. Then she calls the cops!!! Because I wanted a refund for services NOT RENDERED.... Cops came, took my side of it.... smiled.. .and said, "okay, we'll get you your refund". He went in, got me my refund, and I was on my way.... I WOULDN'T RECOMMNED THIS CLINIC. read more

I'm visiting from out of state, and needed to have my TB test read today, or else I would have to do it again when I get home. Other urgent cares wanted to charge me $25, the health department was closed, and the local ER said they would do it, but they are was a very long wait time. Have been there twice in 4 months. They are very nice andpl professional and get you taken care of quickly. The staff is exceptional.

I would rate them a zero if I could. I am in health care, so I understand the industry and am quite forgiving (long waits, curt responses, lack of empathy, I get it) . So for me to be this upset takes a lot. I also am older and know my body. However, my biggest complaint is from the incompetence in customer service and piss poor communication and lack of trust in the customer. I was told my lab results would come within 24 hours. They did not. I had to hunt my lab results down. I wound up testing positive for strep and was told that the PA Cory, would call a prescription into my pharmacy within 2 hours. After 3 hours there was no order at my pharmacy. I called nextcare back and was told that the PA would call my prescription in right then and there. 2 hours after that, still nothing. I called again and next care was closed, with no option to leave a message after hours. If there was any concern for me as a human being, if there was even a shread of empathy, that prescription would have been called in. $160 later, I am still very sick and very miserable and remain so because I cannot get the antibiotics that I need. This place is a scam that feeds off people's illness and desperation. You are better off going to Denver Health, who I rate 5 stars in comparison to this place. read more
