Very poor experience from start to finish. We placed an order on 9th March for three catering units that were to be installed for a client on one of their ships. When the units turned up a week later, one of them was not only the wrong size but also arrived damaged. Since then, we've spent the last month trying to get the issue resolved--either by exchanging the unit or receiving a full refund. Unfortunately, customer service has been virtually non-existent: Calls go unanswered Emails are ignored The online chatbot can't even locate the order We've had to chase constantly with no meaningful progress or communication. Absolute Scam - Avoid at All Costs I placed an order on 28.08.25 for a £2,500 Jura coffee machine. Since then, I've received no updates whatsoever--my online account just shows "payment accepted." Ordered a fridge in June it was definitely not next day. Arrived damaged. After sales care is non existent. Nobody ever answers the phone, you can't leave a message. Many emails bounce back or go without reply. I had to go through Trading Standards and my bank to get my refund, which l have only just received. I have used this company a number of times with no large issues before.. But, we bought a relatively expensive 3 door fridge from them in July with labour & parts warranty, this has already broken. It happens, i get it.... however the problem is, ive been trying for well over 3 weeks to get Nextday to answer/acknowledge any email, or phone call to trigger the warranty. Without Nextday sending the warranty query to the manufacturer the warranty is completely pointless. If i had known that Nextday would "disappear" then i wouldnt have bought through them. The Nextday answer machines often note that they are full and i get constant bounce backs to their email adresses (not sure if the company are in trouble or they really just dont care Please be very careful about using this company, and dont do it if you care about the warranty. Do not order from this terrible company. I purchased an oven. The on/off switch failed within 6 weeks. When I contacted them for a replacement switch (4 months ago), they sent me a detailed list of requirements, including the need for a commercial electrical report on the failed component. Everything was completed and returned. Nothing more was heard from them. Absolutely shocking customer service! I wish I read the reviews before ordering from this supplier. I ordered coffee machine and was fooled by their name and also the fact that they say they would deliver within 3-5 days in their website. I had to wait for 2.5 weeks to get 1 coffee machine to be delivered. Had to email their customer service multiple times and they are unhelpful and didn't do anything to speed up the delivery and incorrectly blamed the courier service (courier service did not get the order and the delay was caused by Nextday Catering and they blamed the courier service). Sneaky tactic to get 5 star reviews, asking to leave a review on how easy the order process was with a chance to win your order for free. The only thing this company does well is take your money. Ordered a fridge on 19th Feb. The website said was in stock with 2-3 day delivery. Called them after 5 days to be told they will call me back.. they never did. Called them back and they never answered. My partner persistently called them the following week spending up to an hour at a time recalling immediately after being cut off. Finally spoke to someone and was promised it would be delivered the next day by 6pm. Nothing. Day 11 it unexpectedly finally turned up at 8:20 in a Crowfoots Luton van. A very poor company - failed promises, unreachable at times, unwilling managers to speak to you to make a complaint, unable to deliver an item within 16 days, nevermind 2-3, as promised on the website - never using them again! Despite phoning to give explicit instructions as to where our building was, they were unable to find it! Then when I asked for them to ask the delivery driver to call me when they were on their way, or was having difficulty finding the place, no phone call was received. Ultimately, UK Mail (who also has terrible service, as agreed by Lynne from Next Day) who they use as their couriers, returned the item to Next Day after 3 failed attempts to deliver! When speaking to Stephen, a Supervisor, from Next Day who was helpful he arranged for UPS to deliver. Again, I asked if the driver to call of there was any problems and also to hold off delivering the machines until Thursday, as there would definitely be someone in the building. However, just received an email from UPS at 6:52pm tonight (Wednesday) to say package had been refused by recipient and returned to sender! There was no one in at that time and that's why I asked to hold off till Thursday!!! Finally, Stephen said a Manager would call me back on Monday afternoon to speak to me regarding the complaint. It's now 20:08 on Wednesday and have heard nothing...surprise, surprise! I've had to make about a dozen calls to them/UK Mail all of which is premium phone numbers and has cost me yet more money! TERRIBLE COMPANY! Our item didn't turn up for almost 2 weeks. We called and eventually got through to someone and was told it would get delivered the following day. When that didn't happen we called again and advised by management "it was lost" (we ordered a BBQ - not entirely sure how this happens). It was then reordered but still without a definitive delivery date/time, and ended up being too late by the time it arrived. We were then issued with a returns fee and a 30% restocking fee! It has been a nightmare from start to finish and shocked how this company is still running. The company is simply a nightmare to deal with, mainly as its almost impossible to get hold of anyone. The online chat does not work, phone calls go unanswered or on hold for over 15mins a time and emails simply get ignored. However, with a vast amount of patience and persistence you will eventually find someone to speak with BUT you will be met with a short, abrupt and basically incorrect answer. Ordered a bar bottle fridge with 2-3 days delivery. Received initial invoice via email and no other communication. After 8 days called the company on both numbers 13 times - got through twice. Once put on hold and the line went dead, next time got assured I'd have a call back within the hour. Surprisingly heard nothing. Called the next day, after another 6 phone calls was told my credit card company had declined the transaction - surprised as it's a company credit card with a decent limit. Phoned our bank to be told it had been processed and the money had reached their account 2 days after I placed the order.... Currently waiting for a call back to try and claim a refund, either way I'll be requesting one via my bank on Monday morning. Terrible customer service, staff are rude and put you on hold only to hang up. Will be looking in to who else to complain too (trading standards etc) as they've wasted so much of my time. I would give this company zero stars if I could worst service I have ever experienced. I purchased a hand wash basin off this company they happily took my money immediately and I never received it. I tried to contact them via email provided on their website but these guys think its ok to take your money and not provide goods and then when you contact them they totally ignore you. Im looking forward to they reply as they have done on other post on here. I tried contacting them via their Facebook and twitter but the blocked me from posting my concerns on their page and still ignored me they deleted all my comments and posts off their Facebook. So then I started post via a friends account and told them this will carry on until I get my money back only then did David email me telling me to stop posting on thier Facebook page and sent me a screenshot of my refund being processed yesterday. I have all the emails I sent and screenshots of all the comments I posted on their Facebook page which will be posted on twitter if the try and defend their self and try to blame their customers for they poor services. I got a result via Facebook so if you face the same problem then try it out or alternatively contact trading standards, watchdog.
