I have never written a review (negative or positive) of a business before. It is not something…read morethat I do lightly or frivolously attaching my name to a company's future client interactions. In a day and age when honesty, integrity, and craftmanship have been downgraded to the point of near extinction in America, you cannot but help take notice when one of these rare qualities are encountered in today's business first climate. Even rarer still, is to encounter a business that applies all three qualities when working with their customers. I have recently required the services of Top of the Hill Collision. They stood their ground when my insurance company was pushing them to use non-original manufacture parts and/or junkyard parts. They could have taken the fast buck and I would have been none the wiser. As it turned out, the right thing to do was to have the insurance company declare my vehicle totaled. The risk of unforeseen equipment failure and/or ill-fitting parts would not only reduce the equity I had in the vehicle to near zero, but more importantly, could have put my family in increased jeopardy while using the vehicle. Once the vehicle was declared "totaled", Top of the Hill was only paid assessment and storage fees. These fees amounted to less than 2% of those "shoddy" repairs proposed by my insurance company would have been for Top of the Hill. I do not know about you, but when a small business owner puts my family's safety first and foremost in their business dealings, I was compelled to share my experience and my gratitude.

During the trip, I mentioned about the need for a job, he said it was worked on a few months ago prior to the trip. When we got home, I inspected the front and rear brakes and nothing was done. I don't remember the amount Kevin charged my dad, but it cost me $500 for new rotors, pads and calipers for the front, and new rotors and pads for the rear. When I knew Kev, I didn't trust him then. When I learned what he did to my dad, there is no way in hell I would ever take my vehicles to him. That said, he does know his stuff. I don't trust him with how he treats his customers, especially those who are senior in age.

Went to Ordus Ford/Lincoln to buy a new Lincoln MKX because we wanted to buy local. Gave the…read moresalesperson, Bradley, a heads up about the purchase we were planning to make. Meanwhile he claimed he was looking at other dealers to locate just what we were looking for because they did not have any MKX's in stock. When the time was ready to make this purchase (a week later) he said he searched everywhere and was not able to locate what we wanted. He recommended a different engine, less options, different colors and then got almost mean when we would not change our mind to comply! This was definitely not my first rodeo with buying a new car but definitely a new experience at this small town, closed minded dealership. Instead of being honest and letting me know they didn't have anything to trade for the caliber of vehicle I was looking for, they treated me poorly instead and acted as if my fault they could not find it! I searched for what I was looking for online, called a dealer within Michigan and they found and secured one for me within an hour. Perhaps Bradley was a newer employee and had a bad attitude to begin with or should receive further training, but with this experience, I will never buy from Ordus Ford-Lincoln-Mercury-Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep nor recommend them to my friends with this kind of attitude. They should not ever wonder why the locals go to the "big city" when they are treated in this manner!
