The Divorce was simple and Paul somehow messed it up. He took my retainer money for a upcoming hearing and won't refund it. I called the Bar Association just waiting to hear back. Her lawyer needed a form for insurance to take me off of my exes but Paul ignored her attempts to contact him. I had to Google the legal form myself and send it off to them. I don't know what I paid for. His paralegals do all of his work. Paul will not return phone calls or emails. I don't think he has a computer and I'm not kidding. He did not get her lawyer discovery and then proceeded to bill me anyways. Paul is worth just being a good car salesman to get you in. That's why his ratings on Lawyer.com has him at 2.8 I wish I knew this ahead of time. He owes me $2000 for the appearances he didn't make and not accomplishing anything the previous one. My new lawyer communicates everything and finally the case is moving along. I had other lawyers wouldn't touch my case because they said Paul messed it bad but my new lawyer has been great so far and cleaning things up. My new Lawyer Katlyn Johnson just got me almost triple what Paul couldn't get me. She closed the deal in 2 months and Paul didn't do anything in 5 months. He is a scam artist that talks a big game. Do not fall for his antics. I was on the verge of getting nothing with Paul and she clean it up easily and closed the deal. She is also cheaper than Paul. Update: Paul Refused to give me 1200 back that he owes me for a court appearance he didn't show up to and said I owe him.

Paul ran my credit card before I even had the retainer agreement read or signed (he flipped over the page with his $350/hr rate very quickly) and left me to sign the agreement. He re-entered the room multiple times huffing and acting impatient that it wasn't signed immediately. I felt intimidated, frustrated, and completely taken advantage of. I should've trusted my gut and left instead of allowing him to take a full retainer. I fired Paul after 3 days, which he used $1,200 out of my $1,500 retainer to simply ADJOURN a court date for HIS OWN VACATION. I received a $310 refund for Paul to do absolutely nothing but disrespect and waste my time. He promised me that retainer would get me through "at least 3 months". Im thankful didn't have him represent me in the courtroom. I'll also note that communication is a joke, his "receptionist" just screams your requests across the hall without putting herself on mute while you sit awkwardly listening to them shout at eachother

We are always full of questions about changes with the tax code and write offs, etc and we always get the answers we need with no issues. I highly recommend AAA for tax preparation services. They are very busy during tax time of year so make your appointment ASAP. We've not had an issue getting on the schedule though because they take appointments late into the evening. COVID TIP - This year we dropped off our tax forms, they prepared them, then called us to answer our questions.

Having no design skill and no idea how to go about fixing this atrocious kitchen, I went to this store which sells cabinets for kitchens and bathrooms. I was introduced to Dave who ended up being my knight in shining armor (for kitchen design, that is). I made it clear to him that I wasn't looking to break the bank, this particular unit in the house would most likely be the "rental" unit. He understood right away that I wouldn't be spending a lot of money at this store and his commission probably wouldn't be fantastic. Even knowing that, he drove all the way out to my Buffalo home on his own dime and time, looked at my kitchen, took measurements and came back with a whole new design layout with architectural renderings. This cost me absolutely NOTHING. I didn't even have to buy the cabinets from him - I did ultimately buy them from him (and was very happy with the way they turned out). In addition, Dave set me up with the contractor who would perform the work. This guy was great and was able to communicate directly with Dave to make sure everything came out as intended. Absolutely great customer-service, experience and a wide array of products. The store itself is also pretty neat: they have a lot of kitchen and bathroom displays that provide some great ideas.
