I can't express enough how disappointed my husband I are with Guild Mortgage Company and her awful team. Sarah Dammarell - Loan officer and her loan processor Barb Gabriel from the Lynnwood office 3400 118th st #400. They are the most unprofessional people that I have ever met in my life. They had our file and documents for 2 months. They provided us a pre-approved letter stating that we were approved to purchase a home for the dollar amount X. Sarah the loan officer told me and my husband that the company does not work with pre-qualify letters, they only work 100% approved letters. And that's what they were giving us. With the letter they provided us we then started looking for a properties. One month letter we found it, put the offer, got it accepted. What a great feeling, but not for too long. As 5 days prior closing our loan Sarah and Barb informed us that they needed to switch our loan program form a Conventional to FHA because we didn't not qualify for it. And the next day they actually declined our loan. How insane is this? How can a company provide us a 100% pre-approved letter and within 5 days of closing Decline our loan staying that our credit score did not meet the requirements??? Really? We have the report of it and we know what is the minimum credit score required to buy a house. Lies after lies. They both should go to jail for proving us with false information and document. How someone can do this to any human being?? Honestly I have no words to describe this type of behavior. We went crazy, we were about to lose on the house, the listing agent, seller, everyone were mad at us. But thank to God We were able to find a reliable mortgage company that was honest with us and also very professional. They were able to pick up the mess left by guild mortgage and close our loan in 2 weeks. Please STAY AWAY Sarah and Barb form Guild Mortgage, they will ruin your life. The experience that we had with Guild Mortgage and those two creatures Sarah and Barb was devastating and very traumatizing. They almost made us to lose the house we love and not even to mention the major stress that we have suffered from this. Tony Fisher and Guild Mortgage were fantastic to work with to buy our first home. We were using a VA loan, which is notoriously tricky, but Tony was a complete expert. I have done multiple loans with this company and many others. They are by far the best loan company I have ever done business with. They give the Nordstrom service in a very competitive business. I have my loan officers private cell number and when I need to I can reach her after hours =this is imperative when you are doing a deal out of state!!!!
